Buck me there is a pile of text to go through xD Anyhow, I am back, really cold for some reason, but back. Now lets see what I should comment on... oh, and had an awesome morning, fell asleep and got to rest for around 1 hour before I got yelled on to get up for an early meeting I had forgot, drowsily get up after some nagging, stumble and collide with a table edge with one of the worst areas, somehow manages to get ready after some whimpering, just to after getting down, waiting half an hour, I get a call telling me they now noticed they were 2 hours off when I was supposed to be there, yay! Also, will have to skim through SO MUCH stuff xD

@Iron: (IQ) Tbh, overall IQ is not a very accurate way to measure things, but yeah.

@Cao: (Dawn) We do have Rampage already, and P-21 is totally a DILF, to an extent... by some... though he's not willing xD

@Sindri: (Dusty Trails) Actually, she was just half-stuffed in it :P

@EP: Hum, seems like I missed quite a discussion hehe. And fff- 30+ pages left still xD Also: Great... I managed to disgust, unsettle and cause my one proofreader to question a big "WHY?" over the Psycho fic. I have strong recommendations to cut out scenes and/or change Psycho to Brass or somepony xP

@Silent: (Glory spaying part) Heh, that statement made the scene more amusing to me... and also reminded me of that grimdark I collaborated on... "*Squish* Got one chance/of them left..."

@Tytan: (And C:O, regarding Kipper being house trained) Don't worry guys, I can break him in if needed. [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 12 459784477

("Ladies") And I'm... really, why is it so hard to make decent cunt jokes and puns? xD Hard enough when not being sleep deprived heh. I'll come up with something later though.

@Cao: (Glory doing speakable horrible things to BJ xD) She could always give her a "Spitting cobra" if she feels the need to punish her. [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 12 524433800 (© me 2012)
... though that is already hard as fuck to pull off irl, would be even more complex for a pony... curse you anatomy! Why do you have to make everything so hard for me to do freaky things? xD

@Rum: (Ploughing) Now now, don't be silly, we all know who'd be doing what. [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 12 2322646808

@Cao: (Ponies in a box) ... okay, I was going to mention plans of doing a counterpart of some thing that was a thing back when ponibooru was still up, but due to there being no ponies in Sweden at the time, I had to drop the idea. But I've already brought up enough messed up topics, so letting it slide xD

@EP: (My latest post, before the review) hum... I actually forgot what the heck I wrote in it, doubt I had anything useful in it though, there rarely is. Feels like there was this one thing I was going to mention though... ah well.

@Cao: (P-21) Fully agree with you. And "OOC pairings" is just something that ticks me off a lot in both fanfics, pictures and what have you. I even have an arch nemesis of stupid ass pairings. (self insert) that has such bad excuses. If I'd use some of them and use P-21 as the "target", they'd go like this: "There is a chance P-21 is bisexual, so thus, he is.", "Until Somber specifically and directly states that P-21 is not bisexual and will not willingly want to have sex with BJ, my headcanonon is correct" and/or "Well I know a guy that is like that, so thus, since P-21 also is a guy, it is applicable to him too." that is more or less their key "convincing arguments". Speaking of which, just had an argument with an idiot that thought it was valid to repeat yourself to be correct, even if the question asked had been changed or altered, after their second reply, they weren't even talking about anything relevant to the topic... (basically went from shotguns to rifles, and they still complained over how a shotgun was too noise or whatever when being questioned why they disliked rifles, or heck, even a hammer would do in comparison, and they still answered that shotguns were too loud, and that was why they disliked shotguns, when being asked what they think of combat knives.

(Swords) Oh, oh, I actually have one, sort of, and old rifles. And I am legally allowed to wear them in public, if I have a "matching attire". [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 12 3845856932

(Scotch/partner for BJ) ... *srnk* Excuse me, I just trailed off horribly with Glory not being her partner, and her having "adopted" Scotch, AND made her her parter xD
I can see it before me. Scotch: "Who's my mommy?!" *Clatch!* Oh goddess I am horrible xD *cough* anyhow, would actually really love to see P-21 and Glory sit down with BJ, explaining more about being "not bisexual", possibly with some help from... I dunno... it could be a really touching moment I think, especially if getting P-21 to open up and talk about what he had to do and stuff... and I dunno... and still, I can't recall any cunt joke being made so far in PH, thought it feels like at least one or two have been made among the pile of cock jokes, but I honestly would be greatly amused if Scotch could just keep surprising people each chapter with some freaky ass "knowledge" or "statement" about something a filly her age shouldn't know... again, her age has been shuffled around greatly possibly it seems. (or perhaps someone told Somber that girls actually get a sex drive by the age of x, not at y like the society tells us xP)

@EP: (RP) I sadly am not mentally stable enough to join atm, that, and lack of time.

Right, cutting it short here to start another reply, will take a few hours to go through this possibly anyhow so... will post a new one in a while then :P

Pfft, I populated mine (or at least, that for a character that represents me) as 4-6-5-4-7-4-10. (Point dump to luck; the character is quite lucky, but not in a practical sense. If it were me, it'd be LK5.) In FO1/2 he'd be useless, in 3 he'd be fine and in NV he'd be okay, but SPECIAL challenges are typically pretty important, and the charisma ones are common.

I guessed Twilight Sparkle's as 4-7-5-6-8-5-5, and Rainbow Dash's as 7-4-7-5-4-8-5, just for kicks.

Just eight for Rainbow? I personally think she breaks the 40 limit, due to being demi-god level character (element bearer)

Also worth considering is that these probably aren't starter-level stats - surely the Mane 6 have leveled up some, perhaps taking intense training once or twice. Makes sense in terms of canon, too, since Twi, Dash, and AJ definitely are intense trainers in their respective fields, and the rest are arguably in similar straits. It's also possible that quest perks should be factored in.

The Mane Six are still ponies, they aren't any more powerful than any other pony, at the basest level. It's their personalities, traits, and talents that make them special, not their physical characteristics, which is what the SPECIAL stats represent. I based my assumptions on the show and the limits determined by the SPECIAL stat system.

Oh, and yeah, Rainbow's AG would be 10, if the system allowed it, but TS with INT 10? I have more doubts about that one. INT 10 is like, all-knowing, and Twi still has plenty to learn, and indeed, learns something new every week (though I wonder if she does between seasons...), so I think eight is a fair score. Nine might be pushing it.

Though, Rarity's would totally have CHR 10, easy, and Fluttershy's incredible empathy would easily afford her PER 10, as Pinkie--uh, what's Pinkie? Endurance, I'd guess, but Lil'Pip hasn't found her statuette up to where I've read. (PARTY HARD!) Her inexhaustible energy might warrant an END of 10. Though she'd be a candidate for PER just as easily due to Pinkie Sense. Applejack would most likely get END 10, that makes sense. But that leaves STR, and Fluts doesn't fit there, and Rainbow has AGI covered. So unless Applejack equals STR, Fluttershy equals PER, Pinkie equals END, Rarity equals CHR, Twi equals INT, and Rainbow equals AGL, I can't make sense of it. But neither system was meant to be compatible, SPECIAL or the Elements of Harmony, so... enh.

I wasn't saying what I thought they were in Fo:E, I was saying simply what I thought they would be. Though, Kkat well expresses the properties you listed off there; Rarity's management ability is at least alluded to in the original. Hers are quite valid. Again, the SPECIAL system totally wasn't meant to work this way. Though, I could argue over Fluttershy having charisma; she's a good diplomat, perhaps, and has an extreme kindness that demands respect, but in regular conversation, or in barter? I don't think so. It's something to think about.

...I wonder why SPECIAL isn't more commonly used.

The company that invented it went defunct fast. I could give you the thirty six year history of tabletop games but suffice it to say, success breeds copycats. If your successful more people use your system.

Interplay went bankrupt in 2007, and Fallout was made in 1997, so I wouldn't call that fast. It is true that they failed financially in many games after Fallout 2, though.

A lot of the good old developer firms are dead. It saddens me when there are sequels we'll never see or wrongly-executed ones from different people. (I'm looking at you, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action! Also Homeworld 2, but that's kinda just differently-scaled than those before it.)

Actually they almost went bankrupt in 2000 and 2001 and were bought out in large part and saved by Titus then went on a failure streak followed by authorizing, start development on then canceling seven games one after another. The games they did make were terrible and they spent five years being a failure as a company.

The point is they needed more games using SPECIAL and you need tie ins and independent makers. For example SPECIAL is more popular after Fallout 3 and New Vegas and PNP books be released (Not officially but still).

The group I play with has actually been discussing getting back into DnD or D20 games after our DM's football season is over.
I wonder how hard it would be to convince them to play an FO:E version... Probably really hard.

The dirty secret of SPECIAL is that it's dices roles are identical to D20 these days. Fallout 1 ran on modified GURPS while the Fallout Runs off something close to Alternity but then it uses AP points rather than turns.

You can see the table-top roots back when Tabletop games were fine to take an hour to resolve two sides of five each essentially moving ten feet and each shooting and missing.

I dunno, he seemed rather open to the premise of Fo:E when you explained it to him, but he still doesn't like ponies, really. He mostly tolerates them, and probably because a chunk of his friends are bronies. Namely, us and a few others. The others? At least two would never be able to take it seriously, even if they were to actually be willing to play it.

Regarding Fluttershy's charisma, I think the relevant point is that she has unreal persuasive ability etc., but her character is such that she tends not to use it very frequently. Think about it: how effective a barterer would she be if she busted out the Stare?
Along similar lines, you could have a high-strength or agility character with a desk job; they are no less strong, but perhaps don't come across as such because the opportunities to demonstrate the trait just don't come up. How immediately apparent was P-21's Int while he was in Stable 99, pre-chapter one? Or Blackjack's...anything, really. With the perception of characteristics defined by the upper limits of what we see, it's hard to make fair judgements about those that have never been tested. And with Fluttershy, the upper bound that we've seen on her persuasion is literally incredible: the natural response to her if she said something about shouting down a dragon or staring down a cockatrice is "bullshit; nobody could do that" yet each and more did happen.
