Re: [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion
They did always stick together and it would be in line for Blackjack's the suck to have offed Thunder Dancer the nice enclave mare. But on the flip side Agent Lighthooves was in charge of that little op so chances are he was bring along either his own people (Which makes no sense to drag Glory's sister along) or he's got a group of expendables with him of various ponies who are in the shit with the Enclave for one reason or another.OneMoreDaySK wrote:Wait. One survivor from the Enclave curbstomp? Please tell me Thunder Dancer wasn't in the party.
So 50/50 Thunder Dancer is dead, depends on why Lighthooves was down there to begin with.

Re: [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion
Somber - I know everyone has said their peace, and I apologise for not saying mine sooner --- I've been in a terrible place emotionally without just cause and thus I felt it better to stay out of it while like that then to say something stupid when I have no right to feel how I did.
(And no, it had nothing to do with you. Please don't think I meant it that way.)
If I lived in the U.S - I would offer you the funds for a flight and a place with me - even if I lived in this cramped place that I do now, I would happily have you sleeping in the bed and me back on the floor (because the floor really ain't that bad, from 7 months experience.)
Since I don't however, I want you to know you have all my moral and emotional support in whatever you do, and if you need any financial support please let us know. we will do anything we can to help you reach any realistic goal (realistic as in, not 100k lol)
If you need 3k, I'm sure we'd find a way for you somehow.
And lots of people are offering their places - and we all mean it.
Hell, even I mean it - though I know you'd rather not move in with me due to it being me and me scaring you and it being the UK.
Anyway. Stay strong, we're here if you need us at any point at all, okay?
-all my wub, hugs and support-

Congrats swicked.
I also think this is my first time ever posting here. (I previously registered somehow, but I don't remember when or how/why).
FoE:PH is literally one of the best things I've ever read.
Somber - please keep up the good work and don't get all depressed. We all love you and your awesome story. I hope things work out for u IRL, whatever you do DON'T check out. I was there once a long time ago and things do get a lot better over time (well they actually get worse, but then get better, and there's so much out there to see and experience, it's not worth leaving) :)
Just for fun I'm actually working on another first I'll post here in a tiny bit, hopefully it'll cheer you up a bit? (and worst case, it'll all give everyone a good laugh) :P

Google has the stupid. According to Wikitionary, in both italian and latin, 'occide' derives from 'occido', which means 'to fell, to slay".Sindri wrote:“‘Te imploro non me occide!’”... I’d guess ‘I implore you not to kill me.’ Google it? Italian for “I implore you not western!” …
Now, it's true that "occidental" means "western", but it has the same root word -- literally, it means "in the direction of falling", because the sun falls in the west.
(Yeah, I'm kind of an etymology geek.)

I really hope we're there to see the expression on Xanthe's face when she meets the Caesar's traitorous, allegedly dead wife.Sindri wrote:The most cursed zebra ever has officially joined the party! When this is all over, take her back to Chapel and let her rest. She’s good with machines and kids; her and Charity could take over the Hoof if nothing else.
Boolackjack now has competition for 'cutest ship evar'.Sindri wrote:“‘You’re my new best friend,’ the armor chirped, making the zebra mare actually blush.”
Okay, logically I know that it’s a pre-programmed phrase and that’s probably the only positive greeting-type message it has, but... *Sqeeeeeee!*
I am officially shipping Xanthe x Steath Suit now.
Sindri wrote:
- Spoiler:
Although I tend to doubt that the Son of Coul is actually dead. Fury was lying about pretty much everything else surrounding the event, at Coulson's suggestion, to pull the team together. The death scene was nowhere near instantaneous. The medics arrived scant seconds after he stopped speaking, and the placement of the wound and his actions after receiving it suggest slow bleeding rather than major organ damage. All that seems to point to his being patched up and relocated to a hospital outside the warzone until after his "death" had inspired the heroes to beat back the invasion.
The only thing that really bothered me was when the put Black Widow in the frontlines in the ending battle. She was magnificent when she was working as a spy, or against normal human adversaries, and it could have been cool if she'd been fighting from the shadows (putting shots through the aliens' eye-holes and joints, using melee or stolen energy weapons, taking over flyers like she did at the very end, whatever), but by insisting that she fight openly in that battle they established that the alien soldiers could be taken down with a few shots to the center of mass from a 9mm pistol. In which case, why is this even a problem? We have our own army, which is apparently better equipped, better trained and more numerous than the invaders.
[...]
In closing, Hulk wins the award for best shut up Hannibal ever.
- Spoiler - Avengers:
-When Coulson "died", I leaned over to my brother and asked, "How long until he gets resurrected with superpowers?"
-I agree about Black Widow. She's at her best when she's sneaking around, completing mission objectives in the background while the big red and green guys hold attention.
-Yes, Hulk wins that award.

I give it a 50/50 chance of the star spawn worshiping Blackjack (and oh won't Xanthe love that), or wanting to kill her even more.Sindri wrote:C'mon, the star spawn probably worships Blackjack anyway.

Also... you know how I said if I were to ever draw r34 of PH it would have to be something which met very specific, undetermined criteria? SSXanthe might just fit that criteria...

Wow am I late... Congratulations swicked. So cute.
Do y'all think the suit will really act like that? Or is it just the implication that it could?

I swear she was blushing when I looked at her after that.
And if Xanthe got the Stealth Suit, who will keep the Medical Power Armor? It should to be there too, rigth?

Eh, "star spawn" is about as descriptive as "monster". I seriously doubt it's even biological, much less anything created, mutated, or inspired by stellar influences.Sindri wrote:C'mon, the star spawn probably worships Blackjack anyway.

Re: [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion
Welp, finally commenting, damn I've been slow this week...
Re: Ghouls: Quite sure people have replied to this already but: Yeah, so far, most ghouls in any story have had more ichor/ooze like blood. More coagulated, tainted and whatnot.
Re: Suit: Yeah, would go with that said body after 200 years, especially in there would have like, something. Or that the "body never left the suit" as it now IS the suit. Or that well, it's a soul jar now, it tried to self-destruct, but failed... something tells me BJ is going back into hightower later when she finds "ancient ritual of how to separate souls" and free the objects from their eternal torment.
Re: Name for... that guy: Have to say I'm quite lost when it comes to this subject.
Re: Psycho+Styg: Eh... still not really into this pairing. It feels like a crack ship (I think it's called) more a "fans would like it" than actually paying attention to the characters. But yes, if pulling some strings and leaning heavily on some things, it can work rather well. The prime two in my head currently however is Styg being chill with it as long as she bends over, and the other being Psycho using him a rebound guy after loosing Sanguine. A third, weaker one is her actually trying to become better and stuff, and him learning it was just a one time thing. But currently she just seems "forced" to be nice since "For some reason I am really hard for this stallion, since fans want me to." and thus tries to impress him. Something I more hope on (but plays poorly) is that she "plays tough" to "fit in", since that's what she's done her entire life, she's cocky and cracks jokes as it what's she's used to working, but it doesn't here, and it leaves her confused and scared a bit, to which she overcompensates. But as said, haven't really seen much evidence to lean towards that reason.
@Kipper: (Smile) I feel like I can link Pinkie's smile song here xP
And no worries, as long as it doesn't take much more than 1-2 weeks to reply. And if it does, a mention of why would be nice. I'm used to waiting tbh.
@Jule: (My side story) Well... totally depends, if you dislike P-21 being tormented or hurt overall in any way, I would definitely not recommend it.
@Robo: (Me) I don't see how that would possibly cause any problem for anyone xD That is totally a chill mental image
@Jermy (P-21) She did stop him from killing them yes, but he was quite busy with stomping on their privates and whatnot.
@Snowy: Welcome, if you are keen to keep your sanity somewhat, about my spoilered TMI talk ;P
@Wave: (Alc fire) Isn't that a 1 square radius thing?
@Silent: Crazy theory: Have to say it seems kind of legit. Wouldn't technically "cure" it though.
@Kipper: (Plush) Rather cute :3 Quite expensive, but eh, most pony stuff are so...
@OneMore: (P-21) I was going to comment on this, but eh xP
@Cpt: (Kitten) Nah, Somber needs a gecko, you can neglect them without as big consequence xP Besides, kittens need much more attention and stuff.
@Everypony: (Potions and BJ being shot) To quote my rulebook on healing and potion max per day: "At some point, you just reach a point there "Um, you got some blood in your potion stream"."
@Cpt: (Counting) I guess for the sake of it: You could count every bad joke, every sexual innuendo, and the times BJ has got laid :P (and for "those" people: Crotch shots/hits and times BJ gelded someone)
@Everypony: (Zebra's) Kkat wrote the zebreas speaking latin?
Re: Somber: Wait, holy gecko! Somber says she's happy? That's a new one. Good news though. And neat to hear it's not a frostmourn... I think.
Re: Puns: Oh come on guys, you don't want me to start pun-ishing you xD
Re: Unicorn magic: Speaking of which, we know they have burnouts when doing it too much, but technically thinking: Could a pegasi run out of "weather magic"? Or could an EP run out of innovation(?) or plant growth? Having a "burnout" in those.
@Quot: Clopfics you say? Oh wait, I wasn't allowed to talk about those I think xD (have a few I think are above the average though, but that's just me, some dislike logic, emotions and IC in theirs)
@Feather: (Snips and Snails)
@Somber: Double your rent? How much of the overall rent do you pay currently? And she seems quite grumpy tbh. Not much unlike my own.
Cpt: (Somber) Heh, most I chat with online actually say the same about me :P
@Noodle: (Cup) It's a metaphor, a metaphor! xD
@Silent: (My "Really?" comment) BM is for starters biologically larger than AJ. But just that is (mostly) how it works for most mammals. Anyhow it's not a really fair comparison. BJ is larger than Pip, BJ is likely physically stronger than Pip, no? In most cases a female can get about equally or as strong as a male. If not as strong, then often more, or much more agile/dexterous. Brute force is not always just about raw power. But anyhow, my main point was that this is BJ, someone that was raised with a male view that was basically that they are weak breeding equipment. Most "strong" role models she's had has been all(?) female, they're alpha in MLP. She's a fanfilly of "The stable dweller", which is a mare. Rampage is a power house, and a mare. So why her first thought of something strong would be a male goes against most of her logical thinking as how she's been raised and with what she's met. Apart from some of the "bad guys" having been "conveniently muscular", like the seemingly stupid and/or rapist psycho's, (don't mean her rapists, they seemed "wasteland average pony". Meant a certain bad guy with a catch phrase.), one oversized killing joke'd pony, (still kinda wonder what the heck he ate) one "noble" ranger, what would have her thinking in that mentality? Styg is about average, likely quite a bit above, but so is Psycho. P-21 is rather weak from what I recall. Golden is weaker than a foal. Or well, I seriously doubt his Str would exceed 1-3. (Then again, with the hinting that he somehow manages to both have long (or at least have them) sex sessions AND be on top, who the hay really knows, he's just complicated.) I'm just saying BJ wouldn't have any reason to think of males like we do. Anyhow, eh, it's late, I'm rambling a bit again. As noticed by the last part. Ugh... sometimes I really feel like those "stereotypical dykes".
@Sindri: (Review) Holy hay! And I was gone for days. O.o
@Swicked: (Baby) Would normally offer my condolences, but then recalled it's mainly my view on them, and that this one was actually planned. And I am too tired and hungry to make comments tbh...
@Sindri+Wave (Suit) ... okay, wow, have to say, not even I went there, but now that I did, it kinda trailed off in my mind...
... okay yeah, just spent 5 min making a clopfic in my head of the suit "helping her" to some "stress relief"... gah! Damn you brain! (It was mostly cute in my head though, along the lines of "Wait, what are you?... no, we really shouldn't..."
And hey! I'm the self-proclaimed ruler of this gutter Wave! xD
And welp, just came back from grilling, talking and skinny dipping with my RP community (only ~33 % did it, and only me and one of the males did it nude, cowards xP) I smell of smoke and have a few insect bites, but man, it was quite refreshing. And I do have to say the "bat" joke was kind of amusing xP
And gah! Why is it so hard to get MLP blindbags? Only place nearby that sells it takes 75 % more than any other place, and other place is out of them! Arglebargle! ... this sucks cervix... I just want to have a marathon with my friends and give them all a surprise pony blindbag. Bought 4 "shiny" ponies for the 4 top pony fans, but they were 25 % more expensive, and I want to try and not waste all my money on these...

@Feather: (Snips and Snails)
- Spoiler:
- Even though I have to say I like the concept idea, I don't think it'd be done. It'd require that they "carefully hide it" by like, over-praising Rarity or whatnot. Which seems a tad far fetched, but could happen. But they likely more seem straight. (like every effing Canon character xD)
@Somber: Double your rent? How much of the overall rent do you pay currently? And she seems quite grumpy tbh. Not much unlike my own.
Cpt: (Somber) Heh, most I chat with online actually say the same about me :P
@Noodle: (Cup) It's a metaphor, a metaphor! xD
- Spoiler:
- Yeah, it derped me a bit to as said. It indicated that he just bleed out by a stab in the back. Especially going with how he just lied still and spoke calmly. I do hope he is alive, and manages to get those pictures signed xP
And yeah, that part derped me a bit as well. I don't recall her being all "super awesomecakes" in fighting. She's more of a rogue, low BaB, most focuses in social skills and deceit, not multi, many and precise shot. And like some people mentioned: Where was spiderman when HIS city is being overrun by aliens? xD
He was quite "assassin-y", but most seemed to just be due to him being taken over. But something I derped over was when the fact an "unmentioned and unofficial ship is allowed to enter without any check or problem in the middle of a war", especially as they were in pretty much "Take no calls from anyone until this is solved" situation. Not to mention in the ship with room for ~15 people, around ~30-40 seems to have been in, seeing how they shot at least 20, and of all on the ship: NO-ONE even bothers doing anything about the ship after it's landed and invaded them.
And yes, the way he did it was really amusing. And close to the end, Tony Stark did do a cock joke I actually liked hehe. :P Would still like to see more vag jokes, but they're kinda harder to do. And trailing off here ^^'
@Swicked: (Baby) Would normally offer my condolences, but then recalled it's mainly my view on them, and that this one was actually planned.

@Somber
I think that plan B is the best option. It would help you so much to be around people who actually appreciate you and your talents. I'll try and pitch in a few bucks but beyond that I can't really help being a minor and half way across the country. Oh and STOP APOLOGIZING FOR BEING AWESOME!
@Swicked
YOU. ARE. A. DADDY. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW AWESOME THIS FACT IS!
@Katt
It is kind of a crack ship. A one way one in my opinion. Styg seems to be very uncomfortable around Phycho and honestly I think that he still wants to shack up with Blackjack possibly because he is far more attracted to her. Or that he has fallen for her.
I don't know why but I can't imagine Styguis as anything but a moron with very simple and naive goals and intentions. When he probably isn't.
@The Suit
I need to get the New Vegas DLC fortunately I'm working with my dad so I'll at least have a little cash. I have heard nothing but good things about old world blues. I would not mind seeing the suit flirt with her a bit. That would be so funny I can't even.
@Me
It's kind of weird being one of the most normal people in a group. No offense intended I wish I was more weird. Also show of hands, do we have any extroverts in here cause I think I might be the only one.

I would totally read that clopfic, along with the others you have made
