This is the place to discuss Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons, a Fallout/MLP:FiM crossover fic by Somber. Story discussion is on the left, group therapy to the right. Please try to schedule your emotional breakdowns when they don't conflict with anyone else's.

Eh? Psalm is a purple alicorn, now. Or rather, the purple alicorn we called Lacunae is now Psalm, because it was Psalm's body all along. She did retain Lacunae's memories (and emotions?) though.

“Your name is Lacunae, yes?”
She swung her head back and forth forcefully.  “No!  No… I’m not her.  She was me, but I wasn’t her,” she stammered, rubbing her face with her drenched wings.  “I’m not supposed to be here.  I’m… I’m supposed to be in a bad place.  Because I did bad things.  But… but now I’m not.  I’m here.”
“This doesn’t count as a bad place?” Crumpets muttered.
The pale unicorn gave her a sharp kick in the shin with uncanny accuracy while saying in that gentle voice, “What is your name?”
She froze, her purple eyes haunted a moment, and then she whispered, barely above the rain, “Psalm.  My name is Psalm.”
“That’s a nice name, Psalm,” Fargazer replied in that calm, understanding voice.  “Well, it’s very wet, and you look like you could use a meal and a chance to dry out.  And I know that Paladin Stronghoof would like to--“
“No!” she blurted again, then bit her lip and shrank back.  “I…  No.  Please.  I want to see him… but I don’t deserve to see him… but I… I…”  She sat in the mud and bowed her head.  “He’ll think I’m her.  And I want to be her.  I can remember… remember everything!  Remember him dancing with her.  Remember her friends.  I… want what she had.  But I’m not her!”

well... project horizons is falling... but that isn't psalm's fault, so it doesn't draw an exact parallel...

I think she's going to play a pivotal role in the final confrontation, but as to which side she'll join, that probably depends on what she finds in her memories

I have started my fourth read and I was hoping to make use of the note adding function of kindle to help editing. Looks like I'm gonna have to use the chapter 58 version though. I'm still gonna leave notes, so hopefully I'll have some editing recommendations at some point.

That's what I was going to say. Depending on when you asked, Somber could've honestly given you the spoiler that Glory was going to die soon after we met her. We all know how that turned out. Plans change. Not saying this one has changed or will change -- but don't put too much emphasis on something somebody says Somber said to them a year ago.

And that's assuming this is even the same spoiler we're discussing. I thought that Kipper got turned off by some revelations about the nature of the Legate and the Eater and how that whole thing was going to play out, not something relating to BJ's child.

Not unless you count stable 99 (I don't, since they were infected by psycho raider virus). Boing didn't die, she was just crippled.
