That's the shitty thing--Daring's mebait (as Ty can attest) and my, and, I think, the whole fandom's interpretation was vastly different. More actual intelligence that you'd expect from an archaeologist, lest stubborn retardation. It didn't help that she went from being able to handle herself alone through dozens of adventures to needing the help of six random, inexperienced ponies who rarely leave their hometown.

The motherboard I bought a while ago with the bent pins... asus refused to replace it for anything less than the cost of another motherboard. Newegg was eventually convinced to RMA it even though it really wasn't their problem. Store credit, woo.
So I bought a motherboard from Gigabyte. It looks great. The bed for the CPU looks great. I plug it in, and it restarts over and over. Just... powers on, lasts ten seconds, then restarts.
Google says it's probably either a bad power supply unit or a short somewhere. I disconnect everything but the CPU and its heat sink. Problem continues even as it complains about having no memory.
I plug it into my computer's PSU and it does the same thing, so I can only assume the motherboard is damaged. If the processor was the problem, it wouldn't start at all. If the heat sink was the problem, it wouldn't be restarting so fast. The thermal paste is just between the two and hasn't dripped off onto anything.
I don't think I did anything to damage it. I can't see any damage on it. Nothing bent, not even the little solder spikes on the bottom of the board. I know how to handle the thing correctly.
This is outright depressing, burning just over a hundred dollars one worthless board at a time.
Maybe Gigabyte will agree to replace it, but I kinda doubt it. I opened the box.

That really sucks. Every physical store I've ever been to while they won't refund your money after the box has been opened they will replace it with the same product if it's busted. Hell say what you want about wal-mart but my sister bought a dvd from them, accidentally stepped on it and they still replaced it.
