Question for anyone else who has Kerbal Space Programme on Steam.


Does it work for you? My copy won't play, at all. Ever. I've tried deleting ALL content for it and redownloading/reinstalling twice now and there's no way for me to play it.

Makes sense, if you can pin down the game being at fault and not your computer I'd recommend sending a support/bug report to the developer, because that's a major problem if you can't run the game

OKay, I read the first two "Episodes" of the Lunaverse ("Longest Day, Longest Night" and "Family Matters"), and I have to say...

That's pretty good

so far at least.


The characters are well written, Trixie doesn't really feel out of character (the circumstances are simply different), and the story themselves, so far, are interesting.

Though so far the ones I've read were from the author known as "RainbowDoubleDash". I've had an eye on a "webisode" written by someone else and found it to be of lesser quality, so I'll see how it goes with the Episodes not written by that RDD.



My only real criticism thus far is that the author constantly confuse "of" with "have", using the former instead of the later, which suggest either he/she has no editors, or that they are criminally incompetent.

For a work of this magnitude, I have difficulties believing that it would be published without passing first through the eyes of a pre-reader.

I've also found GrassAndClouds2 to be pretty good.

It's a known issue, so I dunno.

As a matter of fact, when I was still using ClamAV as my antivirus program, it would interpret Origin's behavior as one of a virus each first time I told it to launch Syndicate after having installed it. Probably something about the authentication process. Told me there was a trojan and automatically put Syndicate's executable in quarantine.

I had word with EA's customer service about that one. And also uninstalled ClamAV.

Using Microsoft Security Essentials since, haven't got a problem in that time - had to get rid of an infection, but it predated the change of antivirus, and neither ClamAV or MSE had detected anything ; and I doubt Norton, AVG, or any of the big names antivirus programs would have either even if it was a known malware : there's just a limit to what antivirus can do to detect a malware, and that one was pretty sneaky.
