Well, I don't know about your gaming skills, but for the sake of this I'm going to say better then mine.

Can't comment on 1999, but on Hard I ended up having my ass handed to me multiple times every other hour.

Handymen suck. They're big, cool, and very tragic if you learn who they where. But fighting them sucked for me. Props to the people who get the achievement of killing one by only shooting him in the heart, cause they move around too much for me.

Wow, there's an achievement for that? Damn. I was always running and gunning from them because fuck going for a nice clean shot every time. Of course I tried to make my shots hit the heart each time, but that was only a general goal and not a requirement.

As for my skills... well, I had my ass handed to me once or twice, but generally I was pretty good. I think I only went down a total of five times through the whole game.

It depends on the author.
The majority of the stories are made by the same three or four "regular" authors and are good.
Have to be more careful with the "random" ones.
And there's also one that, somehow, was allowed to write several stories that are below average.

So, good news.
I got my recording settings fixed. I now can nice, clean gameplay without any issues. It's not -perfectly smooth- but it has no distortion or anything now.

However...

Lightworks doesn't like MP4 files and last I checked, my WMM wasn't working properly with them either.
I don't wanna go back to FLV but if I have to, I will.
Turns out that I just wasn't giving it enough buffer time. it works.

So, when I get the time to, I'll make my videos!

probably by leaving it at 30fps seeing as Xsplit tells me my system may not be capable of recording above that. (Though it could be a general warning... still, having an i7 or AMD chipset would be preferrable. Can't wait for either Steamroller or Excavator...)
