Turns out something on my computer hates KSP completely.
I don't even know what could be causing the problem, but I have an old version of the files on my system which is still zipped so I tried them and even the non-steam version does it.

Gets to the point of launch and can't do anything. Literally, it loads up to the point of launch and just freezes before the kerbal pilot picture can load even.

So yeah, something has killed my ability to play KSP. Really, really tempted to reformat my drives now. I was thinking of it before, but this might be what makes me do it. I dunno.

I was planning on getting an SSD before I did anything like that, though I'm also having the issue of where to store all my junk that I want to save while doing the format.

Haven't gotten through it all yet (circumstances prevented me from getting to the revision for some time, and I didn't continue reading the main thread without it). But it seems less like people hate you and more like you did something fucktarded. "With regards from 4chan..." is never the start of something good. "I haven't read it first hand, but I read the overview from someone else and..." makes whatever you're about to write next automatically invalid and probably very stupid.

I gotta ask... WHY IN THE HELL did he think that it's a good idea to use so many Ultima IX fragments? Because I am not entirely sure.

I don't want to be blaming it, that doesn't change what I did or why I did what I did. All it does is explain why the hell I've been capable of acting the way I did / why I did it, though only if you stop and consider what effect it has on people.
