I keep getting mixed feelings about collective wordcounts of serialized works being compared to wordcounts of works that were published as individual articles.

They start passively discussing Fallout Equestria (Project Horizons and sidestories) at 1:10:20 and ends around 1:14:30. They go on from there to talk a bit more about other potential crossovers.

At some point they also discuss if the comic creators also have to follow the 'no fanfic' rule. I do not have a timestamp for that one.

Aye, I listened to that. I was tempted to write in and tell them that the War was only the fault of the Zebras in the same way the war in Fallout was the fault of the Chinese (ie, unclear) and that my personal opinion is that Equestria was the villain of the conflict...

Right so I read through the revised chapter. Unless I missed something the changed parts were BJ and Lacunae's chat after the bridge incident, the hellhound fight, and the legate fight. I honestly think this version is far superior to the original. I just wish Somber didn't have to go through hell for it.

Indeed, the art/use of perspective is very cool as well. I love the last two panels of that one post, you can tell Req is enthused to talk about old earth pony tradition by that quick headturn! Almost makes me want to venture to the dark side and create a tumblr just to submit stuff.

I comparemerged the old and new copy, looks like pages 39-44 have the biggest changes overall (naturally) which were completely rewritten. Still poking through it.

On another note, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with my brain where sometimes I'll be in one mindset while writing and just type completely different words or words that sound similar but are completely different to what I'm conveying. The zebra's really haven't been fleshed out a whole lot though. I do hope Somber plans to explain their religion and magic system. I really do like the non-standard magic systems like charms and fetishes and the like.

I'd expect the leader to be the most cognizant of the group, actually. The followers are devoted and obsessed, but the one behind it all should be stoic and serious. If anything, that's scarier.

@Rewrite: Well, I suppose the Legate is a bit less ridiculous now, although I will miss Dash!Glory trying to punch him in the face. Can't please everyone, I guess.

Actually, the only thing really crazy about the Legate were the elemental powers. My level fifty courier sprinted around in fifty pounds of metal, wielded a six foot long sword made from a car bumper, was immune to pistol rounds in her small clothes, and could shrug off a .50 bmg round to the face in full armor, and once tore apart the Legendary Deathclaw with her bare hands, just because she could. Actually, I'd give the Courier vs. the Legate even odds.
