Re: flying: Virgin Atlantic is the best airline. Mostly because all their planes aren't 30+ years old like every other airline. Never had a problem with them.

I just realized that I screwed up my work a bit. I keep using "people", "person", and "everyone" instead of "pony" and "everypony" since there are more than just ponies in my group at any one time. However according to the dictionary, most of those words are directed towards humans. Well, I'm not entirely sure what I can do about that. My train of thought is going to be late to the station.

Urgh... I love flying, and I almost never get to do it. And JetBlue has no airports anywhere near here.

They seem to be based out of Boston. I like them - good service, seating, never had a delay or anything with them, friendly employees, they have a pony, and the one checked bag for free means I can bring loads of stuff with me from home to college and vice versa. They're not luxury or anything, but it's not bad.

I do actually like flying, in theory, but I'm not a fan of the recycled air or being cramped together with occasionally weird people (like the guy who kept pestering me for the channel on which "that music video" was playing - guy, I am trying to read [a William Gibson novel - recommended, incidentally - Zero History, the sequel to Spook Country and pseudo-sequel to Pattern Recognition, is really good], I have no clue what you are talking about, and stop being accusatory when I guess and am wrong - I told you it was a guess). I guess I've just done it enough that it's become routine; barely even notice the pressure changes. That's probably not a good thing, actually, since you get a TON of radiation when you're up that high. Oh well. Maybe I'll get super powers! Like... super cancer!

If I can find time, I will - just been volunteered to write three short stories over the next six days, and not in a way that I can really refuse. After the 27th, I WILL have time; and if I don't, I will make it. But I'll see if I can't before then.

Yes, the radiation would be a problem if I actually could fly fairly frequently, and I imagine that doing it a lot might start to wear after a while. The fact remains that, the last time I got to fly, I was in such a happy haze that I found airport security to be rather charming.

I've been messing around lately with an idea to turn the Browning Automatic Rifle into an odd assault rifle. With some modifications it could take a larger magazine, rails, and a bayonet lug.
