Ironmonger wrote:I saw that video. Kip would be small in both height and bulk compared to some of the men in my family. I have a nephew who is around 7'0" 300 pounds, my brother is 6'2" and about three feet wide at his shoulders, I had an uncle who was a toothpick at 7'0" (total creep), and my grandpa is 6'2-3" (can't remember which) despite having really short legs. Though that's what it seems, videos tend to be bad at scale.

Bonus: Joke I came up with. I'm walking to a friends house when a guy in sunglasses walks up to me and hands me a pack of cards. I say to him "What am I supposed to do with this?", he tells me "Deal with it."

@CptAdder I wouldn't say I ignored it, it never came to mind. That's another issue I have, I get so focused on a few factors that everything else doesn't exist in my mind. Not sure if it's the ADD, something else, or just me. I would have mentioned penetration if I thought of it.

I've never bothered with bulking up and such, so yes, there is a lot of people who are far bulkier than me. (and doesn't help that you come from a family of excessively tall people.)
Even still, without bulk I'm still damn strong - stronger than my looks let off.
There's people who regularly go to the gym who can't lift as much as I can or push/pull as hard.

I just have better things to do than to go to the gym and get muscular because quite simply, I don't have the need to do so and feel it would be shallow to do so.

I'm a lot bulkier and taller than most people I know, I'm actually the largest of my dad's kids (everyone on his side is tiny like him) despite me being essentially a scaled-up copy of my dad. Most of the people I listed are on my mom's side excepting my nephew who's a bit of a genetic anomaly. I can throw a person over my shoulder despite not even working out, I just do a lot of work around the house. Helps when you have to fill your washing machine manually.

Bonus: Art for my story drawn by The Grimm Thinker. Iron Fury (terracorn), Furor Armatus (behemoth), Kralle (griffon), and Sonar (pegasus) respectively.

Homage was never looking for someone cool, or smooth, or awesome. She was looking for someone Good, and Littlepip is one of the very few who remains entirely good in the Wasteland and doesn't die immediately because of it.

Gun laws 'round here inhibit their use quite a bit. For example, your (real) shotguns can hold no more than three rounds in a tube magazine. (You may also have one chambered.) Speaking of which, the exact same rules apply to airsoft guns, which means if you pull one on a cop, they are technically allowed to shoot you, I think, but about 99.9% of cops would know better than to shoot a guy with an orange-tipped weapon that must be, by law, made of a clear material at least in the receiver portion. A lot of people spray-paint their guns to more authentic colors, though, so... nasty things have happened, but are rare.

Speaking of cops, they're kind of uncommon around here. It's rare to see one. Fairly interesting is that an armed cop taught me and other students a course, the D.A.R.E. program, when I was in... elementary school, I think. Or was it middle school? ("Yes, I carry a gun.")

Littlepip has the advantage of massive plot armor, as it seems to me. Protagonists just succeed more often on saving throws, it's a fact. If they didn't, then the story would end rather quickly in settings like these.

Lol, first time I've heard an armchair philosopher shut-in called "badass" - she kinda was, though, in her way! She's sort of Bakunin to Pip's Nechayev. (Incidentally, were I a shipper, I'd ship those two hard. Ship 'em all the way to Siberia, I would. [apologies to anyone whose family got sent to a gulag])

That goes without saying.
The MC has plot armour up until their time, if they are indeed destined to die - which most aren't.

Blackjack employs a whole fucking tanks worth of plot armour, but Somber pulls it off through skill and luck.

My own character in my story has it, though I do try to make him rest a lot more than Blackjack because of it.

Umm sigh. I'm having computer trouble... the computer won't generate a video feed. And I think it is stuck in a hibernation recovery mode. Worse yet it won't perform POST. I've done all I can think of aside from swapping to a larger power supply. Any ideas?

Probs, she's pretty much written as an exposition spouting sex goddess but like I said a while back I think she has serious self esteem issues, probably worse than Blackjack, but we don't see them blatantly. This is especially prevalent towards the end of FoE. I woulda liked to have seen more about her pre-Tenpony days with her former girlfriend whatshername.

Gloryjack is my favorite couple. To me homage seemed a littttttttttttle two-dimensional. Not by much...What a load of ship. Luna You know what I'm not even trying now.

EDIT: Alright I got one: A farmer is walking out in his field one day. He trips over a rock and lands face-first in a pile of dung. The farmer picks himself up and yells "Bullshit!"

Jokeblue was Homage's previous girlfriend before Littlepip I believe.

@Stoic

Might be a hardware issue, if that's the case then you're going to have to repair it somehow, otherwise you could try putting in the recovery disk to do a factory reset, that's all I can think of since I'm not an expert on computers. In the future though make sure you back-up everything if you don't already, because you never know your computer might suddenly decide it's tired of doing that "functioning" thing anymore.

Page 21 Summary is go!

Caoimhe calls all 40k players neeeerrrrdddsssss
Iron Man 3 Trailer is released
FeatherDust starts a page worth of speculation about the Project Horizon in Project Horizon
Ironmonger and personal fitness
We all share stories about getting drunk because of Robo
Kipper walks in front of a car
Thread derailment for a page
Did I say one page? I meant a page and a half
But then Sindri shares a hint of the Forum shipping charts
We move on from silly shipping into serious shipping P-21/Lancer anyone? Okay we go from silly shipping into crazy shipping like TwiDash
SilentCarto breaks up with O.Hinds
We start talking about the Goldenblood-Luna-Fluttershy love triangle, dodecahedron, rhombus?
Discussion between Icy Shake, Sindri and I, I offend Sindri (Sorry Sindri) about Nobility and how Luna would be treated by the Canterlot Elite, also Dynasty and the Love Isosceles Triangle
Anyone playing Forum Bingo the Habsburgs Dynasty gets mentioned
Randomblank brings the conversation back to Glory's Mom
OneMoreDaySK moves the thread back to the talk about the original Hoofington group, Big Daddy, Keeper, Crunchy Carrots ect
Short talk about the "moving building" Blackjack sees, the thread agrees it's either the super tank or starspawn
Spam Spam, Tank Spam Spam, legitimate spam
Girls und Panzer! Awwww
Kippershy brings the topic into when we got into Fallout Equestria, some interesting stories are shared
Downloaded skill moves talk onto what the cyberdemon was (We all think it was a cyberdemon)
A short discussion of a subject that is dropped
We are warned that Ravaged is a broken and bad game and you should not buy it
We are informed that Dishonored is a good and great game and you should buy it
A very off topic discussion about legally changing your name, did you know Kippershy's real name was Kipper Steven Shy?
Ironmonger brings the talk to self defense laws and we spend talking about self defense laws here in America and those crazy Brits, not like us sensible Americans who sleep with shotguns loaded with rocksalt by the under the pillow.
The Forum Banner is changed and we all comment!
And we end 10 pages with a talk about Littlepip and Homage and how either Homage deserved better or Littlepip did.. I agree with Iron Homage is a tad underdeveloped, I always expected her and Littlepip to go adventuring together at some point.

That's ten pages and I'm done

naturally, i did attempt to do he whole factory thing, the issue still lies in I cannot get the bloody thing to generate a video feed to the monitor.

Likely its power supply in some way or another, if its not that, I hate this but my wwin 7 disk was scratched, the cdrom drive kept on closing automatically after being open for about .75 seconds... tried to pop the disk in and it closed early scratching the disk. I do have a full back up of the computer on an external hard disk.

I hope it does not come to that.

Well let see, The computer goes into hibernation afr about 4 hours then it will wake up if i plug in or unplug my phone. It hibernated when I finished on tuesday, I left my phone to charge, and in the morning unplugged my phone went to work came home from work, computer wasn't hibernating or sleeping, I turned on monitor, nothing, no signal rather. so I checked connections and checked the cable by switching from the HDMI cable to the VGA cable and adjusted the TV's input to no avail. so I forced the computer off with the press an hold method, waited a bit then powered it back on, no post, no signal to tv. so I powered it off with the powersupply power switch, waited, powered it back on, no post, no signal. I unplugged it, opened the case pulled the graphics card out, put it back in powered up checked that powerwas running to card(the fan on it was on, so power was a go) checked cables inside no POST no Signal... wriggled bits no post no signal. powered off, disconnected hard drive to force it to run basic post and launch the bios, no post no signal... I'm stumped...

Edit: I even popped the battery in the cmos to reset bios to defaults, nada bit of change no post no signal

I think I'd prefer the .45 as a home defense weapon on the basis of portability and ease of storage.

More accurately I'd be like a short Heavy Weapons Guy, I just thought the idea of a cell-shaded version of me with exaggerated short legs was more amusing. I wanted to use a Kodiak 45-70 for home defense since I plan on living over at American Can Lofts at some point, but that aint a home defense gun, it's more like "Honey I shot a bear!" gun. The end scenario would have a dead or dying intruder on my floor with his chest splayed wide open from the round and me getting arrested for accidentally killing the guy. Not to mention the mess...
