I accidentally blew a hole in the blaze arena, but I'm going to fix it as soon as I can. Just thought I'd fess up before someone found it and got their jimmies rustled.

EDIT: If no one minds, I could renovate the arena and put down some obsidian flooring. That way little mishaps like this don't happen again.

After my last post in this thread, you decided to take the discussion to personal messaging, stating how upset you were that I started this discussion in the thread in the first place, and that you wished I had sent you a personal message instead. I obliged you, hoping to resolve the issue. I responded to your message. You responded to my message. I responded saying that I had a lot to say, and suggested that you unban me temporarily from teamspeak so we could finish the conversation there. You declined, which was perfectly fine. I then wrote a detailed and well thought out response, going over several important things including a private issue of mine that needed to be discussed. It was a message intended to bring the discussion to a resolution, or at least closer to one. It was also intended to lower the tension of the discussion by some degree. You responded saying that you didn't read it, and weren't going to. I responded, giving one of the reasons why the message was important, and insisted that you read it. You responded saying that you may or may not read it, but that it wouldn't matter regardless. I tried two more times to contact you and get you to read my message. You didn't respond. I sent you one last message, saying that it was my one final attempt to continue the discussion via personal messaging, and that if you didn't respond to it, I'd be forced to post in this thread once again to gain your attention. I gave you ample time to respond, waiting until after a few days had passed and you had logged in plenty of times and posted in the forums, showing that you had either ignored my message or chosen not to respond.

So, here we are.

Also I used to used Sphax's way back in Vanilla and loved it. Looking at this webpage I see we've got industralcraft support as well as half a dozen other mods we use. Might be time for me to redownload and try it out again.

Also, do the Age portals in Stabletech have return links? I went into the Age of the Sands out of curiosity, got stuck there, then died after I turned my back for a moment. We need some sort of obvious markers for the 'transit zones' in those ages.

And yet, you still have not sent me a personal message, or in any way responded to what I said. You say it's not worth discussing in public, but apparently you don't think personal messaging is a suitable form of communication either. You were the one who brought the discussion to personal messaging, and you were the one who said that you wished I had discussed things with you via personal messaging instead of posting in this thread. And yet, you are also the one who isn't responding to my messages, and who even went so far as to respond to an earlier one just to say that you hadn't and wouldn't read it, which is just plain cold. I had said earlier that I posted in the thread because I thought that was the only way to get a discussion out of you. It would appear that I was right.

Had you chose I'd be unbanning you today instead I'm giving you option I the option you wanted to create rather than the two choices I offered was option C was were I unbanned you instantly fell on my knees and begged your forgiveness. My option I, the new option because you did not like the other two options that WORSE than the options.

Necro your ban has been extended until the 24th and your now added to my ignore list. I can no longer see your posts and any pm attempts will bounce. On the 23rd I'll give you another shot and revoke that and give you yet another chance to convince me you've learned anything from this experience. In PM form.

If on the 23rd your still want to tell me what to do on my server and threaten me via PM then by all means I'll keep giving you option I indefinitely.

Harmony if you think that... I seriously don't care. The entire point of the PM exchange was to avoid drama and have a nice reasonable discussion but that was impossible since the initial exchange was public and heated. After two weeks Necro is coming on just as strong in pm's as the initial exchange that got him banned to begin with day after day. So if two weeks is not enough, lets try three, if not three then six. If not six then twelve.

Harmony I can't go into the PM exchange without either A.Posting everything in full, B. Or just posting parts and be rightly accused of posting things out of context. Let it be until next weekend and maybe we might get an actual meaningful long term resolution. As it stands it's easier to keep the server up and running for the new crop of players coming in now that Ketchup, Orange, Rum and the rest old crew have left. Only you and Tyler are left of the first group to which we've added Lord_Ironmonger, Aonee Retl and a few other new faces then it is to deal with this current drama.

Your alleged goal has been from the start to avoid drama.

So why not do what I've told you before, and just let it slide ? You have literally nothing to do but simply unban him and stop caring about the issue. You don't even have to talk to him if you want or stop blocking his messages / PM.

If the original message for the ban was "do as the Admin tell you", I think the message has been clearly received, by everyone.

If it was otherwise, then your current policy will only expose you to further and further drama the more you continue to enforce it.


Just... let it slide. In the medium and long term you have more to loose going on like that than by simply accepting a single and only thing : unbanning him.

No Harmony the original ban was for this shit on the forums resulting from the thing on the server. Necro is not getting the ban extended for his actions on the server but because he's still arguing about it two weeks later bringing it up over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I never threatened you in the pms, Adder. As a matter of fact, I'd say it was much closer to you threatening me. As far as the tone of the discussion goes, I'll admit that I was acting like a bit of jerk with the way I worded things in my first several posts in this thread. I, for the umpteenth time, apologize for that. That said, the tone switched completely when things switched to pms, with you being the one who started acting like a real jerk.

I have absolutely no problem with all the pms being posted in this thread. I think it would clear up a lot of things, and allow people other than us to give their honest opinion on this whole situation. So long as the messages were posted in their entirety, and all of them were posted, including the ones you didn't read, and the one that I ended up sending twice accidentally, because I didn't realize the first one had been sent. The dates they were sent would need to be included as well, of course.

I considered just posting them right now, since I checked rather thoroughly, and that doesn't appear to be against the rules. However, I believe it would be a great break of trust to just post a bunch of personal messages in the forums without first asking the other person, since the whole point of the messaging system is to be private.

So, what do you say, Adder? Do you have a problem with the messages being posted here? You can post them, or I can post them, it doesn't matter. If you post them, but accidentally miss a few, I can post the rest. If you wish to add additional comments, please include them after the messages, instead of in between them.

I will, however, post this little bit right now, since it is relevant to what you said here:

Either way my objective is achieved, either you stop creating drama on my server or you leave... which stops creating drama on my server.

At the end of the day, I'll get exactly what I want... no more fucking drama.

Okay look Tyler I know your trying to help in your own way but quoting the fact that Necro is still making posts even after several posts warning him that I'm not taking this up again until next week...

At this point why bother even trying. Th original offense of refusing to obey an admin order was minor compared to the forum posts that followed. The forum posts that followed were not as bad as the first two PM's Necro sent only for necro to calm down some only to swell up again after I told him I was not going to read any PM's until I got a decision out of him at which point he sent still more PM's I have not read followed by the forum post yesterday. Had he not gone back on the public forums again he would have been unbanned twelve hours ago instead of having another week thrown on instead. With less than ten hours to go he decides to recommit the offense again bring everything back up and try once again to force demands on me. I tell him he has another week because he's still arguing the point....

And he starts arguing the point some more and starts posting private conversations without asking first.... not that he could ask because he on ignore because he won't let it drop.... at all, he managed four whole days without bringing the issue up again only to ruin it in the final stretch. Speaking of here I am writing another post in public dealing with the situation the exact thing I did not want to deal with this weekend... AGAIN.

Necromancer has made his point, he has no idea why I banned him, he has no idea why I keep extending the ban... and he is fundamentally unable to grasp why I keep extending the ban.

So I'm done, I've spent close to nine hours posting about this issue. I shall not waste another minute on it. I will not make another post on this subject, I will not respond to any PM about this subject. If you bring it up on TS I will not acknowledge it. The day the server is more work that fun is the day I take the server down, upload a copy of the world folder to box and move on with my life.
