Frost will be joining us within a month, I believe, so I'm making a few suits of powered armor for our little merry band of misfits. I'm glad Necro suggested that to me, it'll come in handy in case we have another incident with the fucking devil The Wither or something else.

It looks like a chunk regenerated glitch. Something happened to corrupt that chunk and it got regenerated.

I want to join, but for some reason ftb ultimate runs slowly on my computer.

Anybody that knows a lot about ubuntu have any advice? My computer has a 1gb graphics card and 4gb or ram. Is that enough to play ftb ultimate, or will I just have wait until I get a better computer?

Hmm. Try under options in your FTB launcher. There is an option to let it use more RAM which should help

Short version: No, cause my mom's a nut and since we live in a sort of trailer she doesn't want to hear my computer fan.

The problem I'm having is that even though I have 4gb ram it's only reading 1gb. I found the command to put "javaw -Xmx3072m -Xms1536m -jar" under advanced options and am trying to see if it works. If that's the wrong command to put in it tell me what what's the correct way.

Yeah it didn't work. I'm running 32 bit. I can't get a new computer yet and won't be able to for a couple of months.

if you're running 32 bit, by definition you can't have more than 4 GB of ram (you can have more than 4GB of ram in hardware, but the OS won't be able to use more than 4GB), but in practice it generally limits around 3.5 GB.

If you set the options to use more memory than is available, that may be a problem.

Also, if you are using a 32 bit OS make sure that the version of Java you are running is also a 32 bit version.

There's no problem running 32 bit programs on a 64 bit OS, but the reverse isn't true, far from it.
