See that's the first thing I thought about too, I emailed the company itself (It's just five guys out in California building these things atm) and I wanted them to drag that sucker to the nearest trailer park and stack it up against a bunch of Single wide houses. You know decorate it out and all that. People don't grasp until you shrink things down like that exactly how much space is wasted in hallways and dividers.

Also that would make the most kickass clubhouse ever, just need to stick the thing in the nearest tree.

Actually...when I read adder's post I instantly thought of 'CMC CLUBHOUSE!', so you're not alone Fluttershy /)

I am now happy-face. Or happy-mask-power-armor. Anyway, I came up with an idea for my FoE-ified Trottomans. They all wear Borks (short cloth hats with a square tail that drapes down the back/neck) made of basic materials, and I even came up with a standard firearm. .458 Winchester Magnum lever rifles fed from a 10-round tube magazine with a 29-inch barrel, foot-long bayonet with blood grooves, curved stock (like a jezzail rifle, look it up if you want). Any thoughts? [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 23 524433800

Kattlarv wrote:@Kipper: (NV) Thanks. Hopefully none needs any dlc, since I am not sure I even have any xD How does one install them btw? I'm playing on steam, derp derp.

@Kipper: (Ravage) Not sure, currently very busy lately wasting time, but could see.

@Kipper: (House training) I had an actual decent response to this, but my brain fizzled after I looked at my gecko sleeping vertically.
Was going to randomly mention some more random stuff, and to once more clarify something, but eh... if people have missed my vague two previous hints, I might as well not ruin the mood. And again, it kinda goes against the "PH forum rules".

The absolute easiest way is to download the Nexus Mod Manager, though I prefer the Fallout Mod Manager.
The NMM has the option to download / install straight from the website, and then it's just a case of activating it as you go into the game.

The FOMM requires you to open it up, go into the package manager, open the folder and accept the mod. It'll auto install where possible (99% of the time) and let you know when it's not (a case of copy paste into the data folder.)

The NMM is easier to straight up install, though the FOMM is easier to remove & manage your mods & mod load order.
The only mod of the lot that MIGHT require DLC is Project Nevada.
As for the rest of it, should be fine.

Normally each mod has a detailed walkthrough on how to install, but if you need more help, let me know.

,,,Babe, how about WE sleep vertically ;) [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 23 2182320263

Sounds like a rifle designed for hands, not a saddle.

To start with, a 10-round magazine is not enough for sustained combat on its own. Ponies aren't configured as well for reloading as humans, but can easily carry and use weapons with larger built-in magazines. The lever action would have to be significantly modified as well... and a foot long sword bayonet seems less than useful when attached to something you're wearing... I'd go for a longer blade to keep foes at bay when you have time to position it properly and/or hoofclaws for when they get inside your reach, rather than trying to make the gun a close-combat weapon.

That's my absent-mindedness at work, comes with ADHD. I got it in my head that all of the members would be unicorns, then I started mixing it with human field-logic and...well you know where that went. I was aiming for something close to the Mosin-Nagant 91/30 (like that bayonet). Now that I think about it I could switch it to 15-round box magazine although I'm not sure how tall that would be, .458 is a big round after all but more suited for dealing with ungulates than say a .308. The barrel could be...let's say 18 inches?

Exactly. You have to boil off the solvents. That's why "chemical smell" is one of the main ways to locate a meth lab. They're boiling some really horrible smelling stuff. But having vaporized solvent chemicals is also a great way to start a fire, which is why so many meth lab houses catch fire and burn down, too. And the guys doing the work probably aren't exactly at their best (cough) so the chances get even higher of having a really bad outcome.

I used to think that the name for a particular story flaw - "lavender unicorn syndrome" (when Twilight is repeatedly referred to as "the lavender unicorn" or something similar) - is just a funny name.

Today I learned that... well... it's not just a funny name.

I think as long as it's used in reasonable proportion to other descriptive means, it's not an issue.
If you're using it once in every three or four times, too much. If you're using it something akin to once in every... eight times? You can generally get away with it.

I mean, there's no concrete aspect ratio, just gotta be sure you don't overuse it unless as previously mentioned when we were talking charisma lacking people - when it's being used because the character doesn't know any other way of communicating.

@Rum: (OC's) It was the Blackjack having wheels and stating something about OC's.

@Robo: (Preg) Well, lets hope they get the other parts down as well, heh :P

(Kipper) Remember what? xP (No really, I am actually kerfaffled) Or wait, did you mean I was going to remember what I was going to say, or remember the forum rules? xD

@Kipper: (NV) Okies. I'll check em out next time I am trailing off. Right now I will be writing overly graphic vent story, no time to be the dyke the wasteland needs, not it deserves... or vice versa xD

(Ravage) It was apparently some new wasteland game if I recall right, you asked if anyone else was game for the game.

(House training) I actually didn't 100 % get the "sleep vertically", I know it might've been a reference to my gecko sleeping alongside the wall of it's house but xP
And as said, there's a reason I have a need to be dom.

I don't know. Maybe it would crash by itself if I left the main menu running for long enough. To clarify, since you seem to have missed what I was saying, it crashes when I try to start a new game.

Short version, tiny houses half the size of my apartment... in fact you could probably fit four of these in the square footage of my apartment that look incredibly nice. I spent some time in a single wide growing up and I have to say, these look so much nicer despite being so much smaller.

So, Nevada, we heard you don't want any low-level nuclear waste in your mountain.

That's okay, we'll just bury this weapons-grade fuel we aren't using in 40-50 foot trenches all across your desert.
Don't worry, they're radioactive, so no one should mess with them.

Yeah, people get monumentally stupid whenever the word 'nuclear' comes up.

Like with power plants: what's that, you don't want a fission plant nearby because you're worried about the proper containment and disposal of a few spent fuel rods? That's okay, we'll keep running dozens of coal fires to produce that energy instead. Sure they put out about a hundred times as much radioactive waste, but instead of neat little capsules it's dust spread through the atmosphere and completely uncontained, so you don't have to think about it! As an added bonus, the air is also filled with tons of other poisons and carcinogens for your system and the environment to play with, and it costs a dozen times as much!

Thank you, environmental activists. Thank you so very much. How

Ah, I'd completely forgotten about Ravage, LOL.

Oh, I'm sure you could figure it out with a little imagination [GRIMDARK] Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons Discussion - Page 23 64684025

Lastly, cool cool @ NV. Hope you like them.

So, Nevada, we heard you don't want any low-level nuclear waste in your mountain.

That's okay, we'll just bury this weapons-grade fuel we aren't using in 40-50 foot trenches all across your desert.
Don't worry, they're radioactive, so no one should mess with them.
We'll also totally keep their locations secret. That should keep them safe, right?

How
I was going to reply to Swicked, but Sindri pretty much said what I was going to.

Of course, there's also the fact that a lot of what we call nuclear "waste" could actually be reprocessed into fuel, getting even more energy out of it instead of trying to hide it somewhere...
