is anyone here a good pony drawer? if so id like to ask a favor. im working on 2 characters for a story ill be writing in a few weeks. and id like some one to draw them for me. if anyone wants to ill post their details or you can look on page 10 for their details. the best drawing will be used. again, page 10 for details. i suck at drawing. oh and my phone doesnt let me open those tags so you can send the picture via txt message to me at 315-360-1694.

So everyone knows, because I know I've posted a few times in the challenge thread without it being the big event...
The challenge between me and Camo is now public. If Camo had been around I would've let him see it first, but he's offline so yeah.

Ask the artists we have over here for advices on how to start drawing and stuff.

From what I get, the most important thing is that it basically boils down to work and practice and perseverance.

Practice practice and practice along with a lot of looking at how others do their work and trying to mimic their styles to find one that works for you before finding your own.
If you're drawing with pen&paper (go pen, not pencil.) try to make sections of shapes rather than going too short with your sketch or too long and trying to do it in one motion.
Consider a single bend as one piece and do it like that.
When vectoring, you essentially do dot to dot and then make the lines bend between those to get a clean curve each time. The curves can only ultimately go one way for each section.
The same technique is also brilliant for learning freehand as it stops you from being overwhelmed and feeling like you need to do a whole picture in one go.

Look up groups on DeviantArt and other such things, keep at it and you'll get there with dedication.

You start and you'll suck. Then keep doing it. And each time you draw, you'll suck a little less and less. Then you'll still suck, but its a nice type of sucking.
So spend all your time sucking. Then some people will like it and they'll ask you how to suck like you do. Some might even ask you to suck for them.
