I rarely have any problem working through pain. Of course, it's quite rare for me to be seriously injured or sick (I've yet to break a bone despite having been in situations where others doing the same thing have broken bones, and I haven't gone to the hospital for sickness reasons since I was six, nor to the doctor except for routine checkups in at least seven years) so I don't guess I have much room to talk about my injury tolerance.

When it comes to pain I have a really bizarre habit of just outright forgetting that I'm hurt because of how absent-minded I get when I'm in hyperfocus.

"I'm bleeding? Wait, I already knew this...Shit, so that IS a bad thing...Well, crap."

I keep forgetting I'm injured right now and go back to walking normally until it hurts, remembering I have to go light on my left foot so it can heal up faster.
I do that with most injuries, if I even notice them at all.

Not too long ago I had a nice chunk out of the back of my hand, went 0.5cm deep into the skin (estimate) and it was about 1x1cm wide, so hardly a tiny little speck of damage if you consider it's on the hand and not somewhere like the leg where something like that would be considered tiny.
Anyway, I didn't even notice it until I pulled my glove off and saw my hand was completely red.

To make it even better, it's right above my middle fingers bone and I'm pretty sure I could see it under a very small amount of tissue.

I flipped a coin and decided that I'll be playing FO:NV first, and FOII after.

I have no clue why NV stopped working on me all this time ago, why hasn't it worked after two reinstalls or why is it working now. I'm contently clueless.

Ahh yes, my FO:NV mod.
I managed to get a single character working absolutely fine, but as soon as I started introducing a second, it went wrong.
So I got tired of trying to figure it out and left it in the end.

However, I will get back to that at some point. I'll have to rewrite ALL the code though, I reckon.

In this thread and in the RP I tend to not care much for what is posted so long as it isn't porn, because the story you all talk about in this thread is an adult story, so I would assume that you all know how to control yourselves and can handle such topics maturely.

But, it was nice to see Discord at the beginning, because he's one of the only creatures on the show willing to go against Celestia, while everyone else listens to her like she's absolutely perfect despite her frequent mistakes and failures.

But then, he ends up as her little bitch anyway.

And Celestia "cast a spell" (I know it's only a kid's show, but the limits of what magic can or can't do need to be better defined. As it is now, unicorns are fucking demigods and earth ponies are chopped shit) to prevent Discord from touching the Elements.

Right, because Celestia's magic (and pony magic in general) has worked so well against Discord in the past.

Then, they kept referring to him as "evil". By definition, he isn't evil. He's Chaotic. One can see how ponies, who live in a stagnant, totalitarian autocracy, would see a being that is free and independent-thinking as Evil, but, objectively, he is amoral, not immoral. Rather than seeking a balance between order and chaos (as modern societies do, balancing freedom and security, which are more-or-less Chaos and Order with different names) they simply say that anyone who goes against the state and against the Glorious Leader Celestia is evil. Great message for a kid's show.
