"Oh, a doctor huh? Well, good ta know there's a doctor round here. No offense ta anyone but ah prefer ta have another pegasus take look if my wing ever got hurt."She smiles

"Oh, there's another doctor? You must mean that Stable-dweller. I've had him assist me on an operation, but I wouldn't exactly call him a doctor." Painkiller is a little wary, this is the second time in a day he has been connected with being a pegasus or Enclave. He was sure his clothes concealed his more limbic prosthetics and that is brand was fully covered. He wasn't about to check with this just out of formation flight camp filly in front of him. That was something for private later on.

"Ah was talkin' 'bout you..."She points at his side"Ah felt yer wings when ah bumped inta ya. Anyways, if yer keepin' it a secret it's safe with me. Ah can't say ah blame ya, ah usually wear a duster ta cover mine up, ah guess ah just left it in my room this mornin'.."

Painkiller's face scrunches up slightly, "I learned from personal experience, the hard way. I do appreciate your silence on the matter." Painkiller knows she's intending well, and its likely she rarely gets to meet other pegasus.

"Don't mention it doc, us pegasi gotta look out fer one an other. Especially down here."She says sincerely, and smiles"Can't tell ya how many times ah've had gun ta my head just 'cause ah had wings."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"A gun would have been merciful. I suppose it was Shadow who pulled you out from those spots?"

Painkiller has taken to sitting down, still facing the door of the klinik, willing it to open.

Cherry blushes a little"Uh...Yeah, he uh did. Probably be dead by now if it weren't fer him..."

Cast Iron decides to go back to the inn. Perhaps I should just leave the Doktor be for a bit. I have been hanging around him a lot and he probably needs some time to calm down after that argument between him and Charcoal. he thinks to himself. He sighs. Do I really have any friends, or am I just annoying people? The Wasteland is too different from home, nothing is familiar. I suppose the only thing I could really call my friend is my rifle...even if we will eventually part ways. He lays down on a corner of the porch and decides to take a nap since he can't get fresh air in an old room.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller only nods his head, "You're a lucky mare then. What did you do while in the Enclave? I know that hat is not found dirtside."

[Guest]

"Me? Well not much of anythin' ah wasn't out of the Neighvarro academy fer long before my patrol got ambushed. But ah was supposed ta be E.O.D and part time repair pony."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"I'm not sure I want to know what a fledgling like you, so fresh from the academy, is doing out here. You know what will happen if any of the patrols find you right?"

Cherry looks down"...Yeah, ah know what'll happen."She says sadly

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Wearing that cap is more than likely to get you caught faster; you could pass yourself off as a born dirtsider without it."

Painkiller looks up at the clouds, imagining he could see through the curtain or clouds. It may as well be as impenetrable as iron for all he can see. "How long ago was it you went under the clouds? Tartarus, how did you avoid the lightning rods? I've treated pegasi who flew too close to that layer of the curtain, it wasn't always pretty. You know what? I probably shouldn't know. Whatever it was that drove you to come down here, its your business not my own. I'm sure you were prepared for the consequences."

He shakes his head and starts to trot back to the inn, he'll come back to the klinik later. "If you care to know, I can show you what can happen to a pony who isn't careful." He offers the young mare to follow him.

[Guest]

"W-well, Ah volunteered ta come down here once ah graduated ta do a recon and see if it was suitable fer the Enclave ta come down here and help.... The patrol got ambushed, by Slavers ah think.... Any ways, as far as know, the enclave thinks ah'm dead along with everypony else that went."She looks up"Ah know ah shouldn't wear the cap, it's just... Just only thing that makes me feel close ta home..."She trots over to painkiller

Quiver sees two ponies he recognizes, and trots up to them.
"Hello Doc, bounty hunter pony. How are you two?"
He says, awkwardly.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller jerks his head in Quiver's direction, "That would be the stable-dweller I mentioned earlier. I never bothered to learn his name tho." Painkiller turns his head to face the pony.

Cherry looks at the stable pony"Uh, howdy. Mind tellin' us yer name?"

[Ketchup]

"Nor I yours, Doc. My name is Quiver. You've been talking about me?"
He says, confusion showing in his features.

[Guest]

"He's mentioned ya helped him, once."She looks over Quiver"Ya kinda odd ta see a stable pegasus 'round here. Wouldn't ya say, doc?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Painkiller." He answers curtly. "The mare's name is Cherry Blossom. Unusual name for a Pegasus for sure, it's very Earth Pony."

His stance takes on one of those impatient bits, "From what I hear about stable-dwellers, you all really don't know much about the life out here do you?"

[Guest]

Cherry chuckles"Can't tell ya how many times somepony's said that, doc. Honsetly though, it does help me blend in down here. Just gotta watch out with the cap though..."

[Ketchup]

Quiver turns to the mare.
"Well, Stable 16 wasn't supposed to have any pegasi, but many pegasi during the war were wounded, such that they could no longer fly. My ancestors came from a war hospital whose residents were allowed to enter as the door closed."
He turns to Painkiller.
"Well it is nice to make your acquaintances, Cherry Blossom and Painkiller. And no, it is quite true that I am not well versed in life out here."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Pain taps his chin with a hoof on the thought of that. Just the thought of being stuck underground for so long in a facility like that. His claustrophobia couldn't take it, he started pacing most irritably. Were he still with wings, he would have started stretching and flapping them a bit in his irritation. Lucky for him, the power circuit to the wings was disengaged so they couldn't move.

"I didn't know the Stables would allow that, I was under the impression entry was regulated somehow." His reasoning was well founded, to just allow anypony into a stable would have ended up in over population issues when the bombs fell. The enclave knew this from the few mountaintop stables that were above the cloud curtain.

[Guest]

"Who knows why they let it happen, maybe Stable-Tec thought it couldn't do any harm."She shrugs then looks at Quiver

[Ketchup]

"I was just told that they were let in and that the pegasi with workable wings had their own way of shelter. I was told that Stables catered to local populations."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"It would make sense then." painkiller nods his head and aims his pacing towards the inn.

"I think you should come see this too." Pain indicates for the two to follow.

[Ketchup]

Quiver follows along.
"What exactly are you two going to see?"

[Guest]

"All right, if ya say so."She follows Painkiller"Hey, Quiver, how'd it go with Shadow? Did he at least try ta talk when y'all went on that job yesterday?"

[Ketchup]

"Well, I tried to be polite and ask him his name after he let the rest of the group get his share of caps from the job we did. He didn't tell me his name, so I guess I know it now. He's not the most talkative pony, is he?"

Cherry sighs"No, he ain't. He's got... Issues...When it comes ta others."
