Searchlight notices the innkeeper return to the counter.
"Excuse me for a minute."
Walks around Shadow and Cherry.
"Room for one."
He puts 50 caps on the counter and is given a key.
"Thanks."
He leaves to go to his room.
"Have a good night you two!"
He says to Shadow as he walks out of their sight.

"When you work with someone for over eight years, you learn to communicate. Besides, my mom used to always say that the best friends come from strange encounters..." Charcoal gets quiet for a moment after mentioning his mother. "Anyways, me and him have mutual interests when it comes to raiders, and neither of us would still be here if it wasn't for the other."

Scorch nods his head in agreement and sidles up to Charcoal.

[Tytan]

"I'll take a wild shot in the dark and say your interests involving raiders aren't along the lines of giving them life counseling."

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron walks up to the counter with the Doktor floating next to him in his magic. He appears irritated. "Room for two." he roughly places down 100 caps for the room, the counter shuddering a bit under the sudden impact of such force. The inn keeper nervously gives him a key. Cast Iron angrily walks them to the room. "Damn bird is bad for Doktor, zat much is clear." he says in annoyance and concern. "But nozzing can be done because bird is traveling vith us. Bah"

[Guest]

"Yeah, sure."He rolls his eyes, then turns"Oh, good yer back."He puts 100 caps on the counter"Just a room please."He takes the key and heads off to his and Cherry's room."Love get up, we got a room. and it has the shower ya wanted."

Cherry slowly gets up and heads to the shower."Okay..."She yawns and steps in.

Shadow chuckles, and takes off his gear, waits for Cherry to finish up before taking his own. Then he cuddles up to Cherry and falls asleep.

[XT Vengeance]

"If by life counseling you mean hunting them down like the animals they act like, then sure. You could say the two of us have every reason to hate them."

Scorch nods his head vigorously.

[Tytan]

"A lot of ponies do... myself included."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well that's good. Uh, so what's the story with your sand dog friend? Viktor was his name, right?"

Scorch looks at the mare for a moment and hops over to her. he begins looking her over as though he is a drill sergeant inspecting a new recruit.

[Tytan]

"That's a bit of a story. And it has a lot to do with how I feel about raiders."

[XT Vengeance]

"Oh, don't worry about it then. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

Charcoal notices his friend inspecting Clock. "Scorch, what are you doing?"

"Squawk. Kakaw squawk."

"Um... please don't," Charcoal replies, blushing.

[Tytan]

"If you want to hear it I'll tell you, just... it's a sore subject."

Clock pulls her head a little away from the phoenix, "Um, what is he doing?"

[Orm]

Searchlight entered his room.
He made his way to the bed tossing his hat, duster, and bags on the chair next to it.
He lays down on the bed and rolls to his side, catching his reflection in the mirror.
He touched his muzzle feeling the spot where most of its flesh was missing, and he patted the spot where his left ear used to be.
He looked away from the mirror, shut his eyes, and tried to sleep.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller jerks conscious for a moment, not long enough to rememeber being awake, but he calls out an Aye-Aye, Sir in a soft tone before falling into an actual alcohol induced slumber

[XT Vengeance]

Whisper to Clock:

"Right...I should go now," he says standing up and starting to walk away.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron briefly chuckles at Painkiller's actions as he walks. He opens the door to his room and sets their stuff down, being careful to keep it separate, but he keeps his rifle with him because he would not be caught dead without it. He was spooked pretty bad, I should probably let him have the bed. he thinks to himself. He sets the Doktor lightly on the bed, then goes over to a corner and lies down to sleep.

[Tytan]

[Perception 6+5] "W-what!?" Clock turns back to the bird, "L-look, I like Charcoal just fine, b-but I'm not- I don't- Dyuh-" Clock is sputtering and blushing furiously.

She stands up and backs away from the bird... right into Charcoal.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal freezes in place when Clock bumps into him.

[Tytan]

Clock tries to step away from Charcoal, but her leg gets caught on his and they both trip. Charcoal landing on top of Clock.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal just stares at the mare in surprise.

"Squawk!"

"I should go," Charcoal says quickly before running inside. He quickly exchanges fifty caps for the key and gallops to the room.

[Tytan]

Clock is stunned for a moment. As Charcoal runs away she continues staring at where his face had been. Mere inches from her own.

A long moment later she slowly gets up and saunters off. She finds Viktor sleeping behind the Inn. He's curled up into a ball, his arms partially covering his face. He almost looks peaceful.

Clock climbs on top of him and lays down on him.

She's restless and can't get to sleep. She can't stop thinking about what happened.

She rolls over and looks at the sky. For the barest instant she could've sworn she saw a star.

She keeps staring at the sky until she eventually drifts to sleep.

[XT Vengeance]

Scorch chuckles to himself at the two, then takes off, flying back to the perch he had found earlier. The phoenix curls up and falls asleep on the rooftop.

[Aonee]

Having watched the whole escapade between Clock and Charcoal, Crusher walks over next to Viktor, lying down and powering off for the night.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Its morning for Painkiller, he wakes.

Charcoal bolts awake, sweating profusely as his heart races. Shaking away the last traces of his nightmare, he stands up and trots to the bathroom. He washes his face off in the sink, cursing himself for screwing things up so badly with Clock. Charcoal grabs his things and trots out of the hotel, leaving the key on the counter. The grey cyber-pony then sits down on the porch, not really interested in doing anything just yet.

Scorch swoops down and lands by Charcoal's side.

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron awakes from his sleep after being prodded with a hoof by the Doktor. After making sure Painkiller is alright after the night's events, Cast Iron grabs their things in his magic and they exit outside. Noticing Charcoal and Scorch sitting on the porch, Cast Iron decides to sit down as well, making a loud thump as he impacts the floorboards. Painkiller puts distance between himself and the balefire Phoenix. "Guten tag, my friend." Cast Iron says to the duo.

[XT Vengeance]

[Intelligence 7(7+2)]"I'm guessing that than means good morning where you come from? Either way, good morning to you too."

"Squawk."

"Scorch says good morning as well."

[Ironmonger]

"You mentioned zat you are a sharpshooter as vell. Vat veapon vere you issued, and vat did you zink of it? I found my Drachen to be better for hunting, zeh heavier rounds caused too much bullet-drop and lacked velocity." he says, trying to strike up some sort of conversation out of boredom and curiosity.

[XT Vengeance]

"Issued? I have my varmint rifle. I've had it for a long time. My dad gave it to me after I got my cutie mark. I've only had the chance to use a hunting rifle once, but I couldn't afford to purchase it. The drop is pretty bad on this gun, but I like to see it as a challenge."

"Squawk?"

"Yeah, that's a good point. Lets go check out the gun shop. Feel free to come with Cast Iron."

Charcoal trots off to the gun shop, Scorch perched on his back.

[Katarn]

With grunt Jay wake up, lying on bed in Klinik. This time he had all new (if you can call it like that) bondages all over his body, but he felt already better than tomorrow...except slight headache and half-empty bottle of whiskey, which he hold in his grip.

[Ironmonger]

"Aye." His cybernetics whir loudly and the hydraulics hiss, the floorboards of the porch shudder as he gets to his hooves. "Zeh good zing about a seven-nine-seven is zat most zings you hit die vith two shots, one if you are fortunate. Zer are faster bullets but few make vounds of similar depth. Now, zeh two rifles you should pray you are never on zeh business end of are a zree-seventy-five and a four-fifty-eight, nozzing survives zose."
