"You could make more money as bounty hunter or caravan guard. With fella like...Scorch, right? Well, with fella like him on lookout you could've raising good caps. And surely you would have some baddies to shoot at."

Eve had taken residence on the roof of the general store the previous night, and hadn't moved much since. Some of the guards had given her strange looks, but they didn't question it. If she fell, it would be her own fault. Admittedly, there wasn't much to see, but it was peaceful on the roof. No-one there to disturb her...

'That isn't the point," Charcoal says with a sigh. "If I was out for caps then I would have been doing things differently, but that isn't anyone's business, alright?"

[Katarn]

"So..personal." Waves at his metallic hoof. "Because of this?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Look, it isn't something I want to talk about. Excuse me," he says trotting away.

[Katarn]

Sighs and sits where she was. Yet another interesting person just walked away. Novae looked at sky, same grey cloud layer above. She was ready to leave, until she saw...someone in between sky and ground. This time nopony would get away from her.

[Katarn]

Slightly panting Novae appeared on the same roof, Eve was sitting. "Quite a view, isn't it?"

Eve sighs quietly. "What are you doing up here?"

[Katarn]

Pant. "Saw you sitting up here, thought I've come up and ask what are you doing here."
"Hungry?" Novae offers some sugar apple bombs.

[MrMagma]

She pushes the box of apple bombs back to Novae. The zebra mare had only been up on the roof with her for a few moments, and she was already becoming irritated. "No."

[Katarn]

"Oh...you don't like them? Or you don't like me? Maybe both? Nice mask you have. What do you like to eat? Do you like explosions? Maybe I could repair something for you?"

"Have you, by some chance, recently inhaled all the Dash in the entire wasteland?"

[Katarn]

"Depends...few years back I've inhaled some nasty chemicals, when I was making some awesome~ bomb. Tell you what, inhaling deadly chemicals can hurt you."

"I never would've guessed."

[Katarn]

"See, if I wouldn't tell you, you might got into something nasty!" Grin.
"Saaaay. What do you do up here? What your favourite meal? Do you hate me? Have something to do? Hungry?"

Eve grimaced behind her mask. It was tempting for her to fly somewhere else, but had the feeling that doing that wouldn't stop the zebra from following her. "To answer your questions in order. I was trying to get some peace up here. I eat meat and meat alone. If you're always like this, probably. No. No."

[Katarn]

"Hm...meat only? Cram? I've tried it, not that I like that stuff, but it taste bad. If you want my father have some Cram and he have fresh Brahman meat. You're pretty. I'm sorry if I confuse you, it's just, I, most of the time, can't hold all my thoughts inside and instead I talk. Like now. Are you good with this?" Novae points at crossbow."

"I'm not perfect, but I'm good enough." Eve raises an eyebrow. "Why?"

[Katarn]

"Rare weapon. Never saw actually how someone use something like it."
"Everyone stick to conventional or energy weapons, some, like me, to explosives. Some to melee or dartpipes. You're one unique mare."

[MrMagma]

"I'm not conventional. Most people expect conventional."

[Katarn]

"And then BAM! They have arrow in the knee." Giggle-snort.
"Saaaay...you've said you eat meat and meat only...if you want I could get some for you."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Pain marches off to the Klinik; he needs to replenish his stock of medical supplies. He stops short of the door and knocks.

Cherry bumps [perception 6 (10+1)] into Painkiller outside the clinic and takes note of the familiar bulges underneath his coat "Howdy, ya happen ta know where Shadow is?"

Shadow goes into the bar and sits in the corner table in the back. Then takes out a repair kit and starts to tinker with his smg.

The disgruntled Doctor's eyes flick over the pegasus mare who bumped him, young and sporting an Enclave issue head cover. Without the brand on her flank he figured she may have found the cap or inherited it; either case, she wasn't really endeared to him.

"I think you would find your shadow wherever it's being cast. I know it can be a bit hard to tell from the lack of direct sunlight, but there is still one there. I'd advise you to look down and around your hooves." Painkiller answers pointing with a hoof to her shadow, not really having a clue whom 'Shadow' was.

"No shit, smartass."She says flatly "Ah was lookin' fer my partner. Ya know wear's a thick hooded coat and sunglasses, he's kinda of an ass sometimes."She puts her hoof to her chin"Ya know, y'all would probably get along pretty well."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Sighing with annoyance, and the younger pony's accent being a right irritation, he answers back, "Well tarnation, din' thin use were talkin 'bout no pony. Dun thin ah jus lost mah mind when ah pony starts asks 'bout shadows."

His imitation of her country accent reminded him of some of the scholarship pegasus at the university and later on the raptors. He never really disliked any of them, the accent just about drove him out of his mind. He was often told his imitation was spot on for pegasi from the southwestern quadrants of of the sky barley basket. At least this pony didn't do the central southern accent, which did not have spaces in the words. He hated how butchered Eqquish was when they spoke it.

"You wouldn't happen to have a name would you?" He returns to his normal mode of speech.

"So, that's a no then?*sigh* Anyways, it's Cherry Blossom. Ya can call me Cherry if ya like. Mind if ah ask what yers is?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

This young mare is damn near unflappable, "Doctor Painkiller." He says straight on. He can respect her ability to keep some bearing, only thing is he suspects she might be dense.
