"Yeah. Clock, I...I was serious about making things up to you. I...I shouldn't have even thought of leaving. I can't do that to you."

Clocks ears go back, "Well, it wasn't exactly appreciated."

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal's head droops at that. "I know. I just...I'm not used to other ponies giving a damn about me. I just kinda assumed you would feel the same...even though I know I shouldn't have. I'm sorry."

[Tytan]

"Just be careful next time. You never know who's got abandonment issues."

[XT Vengeance]

"Clock. I will never leave you. I promise. I will be here as long as you want me to," the colt says softly.

[Tytan]

"Thanks Char... Now can we eat before I lose my appetite all over again?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Of course. After you though, I wan't to know what you think of it."

[Tytan]

Clock nods and cuts off a piece of her pork chop. She chews it thoughtfully. She swallows and happily sighs, "If you ever get tired of killing bandits I wouldn't mind hiring you as my caravan chef. It's a little small at the moment, but I'm great company." She smiles.

[XT Vengeance]

"Clock, I have a job protecting ponies like you, remember?" he asks her before taking a bite.

[Tytan]

"I know, but a belly full of good food can do wonders."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well you could...stay with me...I mean, there is plenty of room in the Nest and I still end up travelling a lot. But if you want to keep travelling, I understand. I think I can figure something out, but Friendship City won't exactly be happy with me quitting."

[Tytan]

"Friendship City? Been a while since I've been out that way. Do the guards still have a stick up their rear?"

[XT Vengeance]

"Uh, if you mean that they are grumpy most of the time, then yes. They tend to treat me pretty well though. I think its just because of all the raiders I've taken out in the last several years. They still give me funny looks because of my hoof though."

[Tytan]

"They're a bunch of pigs. They were makin' cat calls at me the first time I was there, they stopped after they asked if I had any weapons."

[XT Vengeance]

"That is inappropriate. I mean, you are really cute, but that sort of thing is just rude."

[Tytan]

"Well, a bag full of shiny pointy things shut'em up pretty quick."

[XT Vengeance]

"Heh, well if they weren't cowards thy would be out fighting the raiders too."

[Tytan]

"Heh. To be fair they probably have families."

"I guess that's probably true, though that makes the catcalls even worse." He takes another bite of the pasta before returning to the pork. "But I guess I've always been a one pony kind of guy."

[Tytan]

"I can repect that. And I did say they were pigs."

[XT Vengeance]

"So uh...what do you want to do after dinner?" Charcoal ask the mare. "I don't really have any plans."

[Tytan]

"I think we can come up with something." She sucks up a single noodle.

Charcoal tilts his head to the side, confused at first. "Oh!" he says, blushing, "I...I'd like that."
