Shadow shakes his head"If what ah think is happenin' is happenin' then ah'm screwed."He mumbles to himself.

[Tytan]

"Yes you are." Clock returns to Blossom, "Now you're even."

Shadow sighs

Cherry giggles"Oh, this is gonna be fun."

[Tytan]

Clock gives her a wicked grin, "Shadow seemed to think so."

[Guest]

"Heh, we'll have ta make sure this good for'im."She grins

"Oh, we will."

*chuckles as he watches them*

Having had time to calm down, Charcoal stood up, and placed Scorch back onto his back. Entering the building, he walked through the common room, and entered the kitchen.

He set his feathered friend down on the counter, not wanting to disturb his rest. Trotting up to the counter, he pulled a can of baked beans from his saddle bags and poured it into a pot. Having turned on the stove, the ash-grey pony pulled out a survival magazine, absentmindedly stirring the food as it warmed.

*watches Charcoal and sips coffee* Mornin'.

[XT Vengeance]

"Oh, hi, I didn't see you there," the ash-grey colt said, his voice full of surprise. "I'm not sure we have met, have we?"

[RoboRed]

*thinks for a moment* I dunno. We might have. My memory's kinda foggy right now. *extends hand* The name's Robo.

[XT Vengeance]

"My name is Charcoal," he says offering his right hoof. "And my feathered friend is Scorch. Try not to wake him though, he gets a little grumpy."

[RoboRed]

*shakes his hoof & looks at Scorch* Yeah, definitely not a good idea to upset anything that breathes fire...*looks at Charcoal* So, how're you doing?

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm doing alright. Still a little ticked off, but all in all I am doin' fine." Charcoal turns back to his food and continues stirring the contents of the pot so that it warms evenly. He pulls a small pouch of dried herbs out of his bag and sprinkles some into the pot before stirring it once more.

"How about you?"

I'm fine, just a little tired.

...Ticked off? What happened?

[XT Vengeance]

"Don't worry about it. Wasn't anything major," Charcoal says shaking his head slightly.

[RoboRed]

...You sure you don't want to talk about it?

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah, I'm sure. No offense to you, I just don't like talking about things like that with anyone other than Scorch."

[RoboRed]

*shrugs* Alright then. *observes* So I take it you like cooking?

[XT Vengeance]

"A little bit. My mom taught me how to cook, and what herbs make good medicine or seasonings. I don't get that many chances to cook a real meal though, what with being out working."

[RoboRed]

What do you do?

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, I'm a sniper. So I spend a lot of time waiting for good opportunities. And a cooking fire is a surefire way to get found."

[RoboRed]

*nods* I can understand that. Is Scorch your spotter, then?

[XT Vengeance]

"Yep. Any you couldn't ask for a better one. I mean, he gets a bird's eye view, and he scares my targets out of cover really easily," Charcoal says with a hint of pride, looking to the sleeping Phoenix.

So, do you work as a sniper-for-hire, or as part of a unit or something like that?

[XT Vengeance]

"I guess sniper-for-hire is closer to what I do, but I mostly hunt raiders for folks in need. Especially if it helps protect caravan routes."

[RoboRed]

*sips coffee* That's really noble of you.

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah, noble. Right." Charcoal says with heavy sarcasm.

[Tytan]

((I think the conversation with Blossom was pretty much done anyways.))

"Just because it's murder doesn't make it not noble. You've probably save my hindquarters on more than one occasion and I didn't even know it. So, thank you." Clock was standing in the door to the kitchen.

*puts down coffee on counter* Well, as I understand it, trade is the only thing keeping the Wasteland from collapsing in on itself. And raiders preying on caravans and the innocent is a bad thing. Right?
