[Tytan]

This will be our 'Pregame' thread for Season 3 of the RP.

Whether or not this will be canon or not will be determined by whoever is writing Season 3.

If nothing else we can use it to get to know each others characters a little better.

If you're here then you probably already know the rules.

We'll probably end up using the rules from the regular RP.

If you're new just ask someone who looks like they know what they're doing.

Let's hope this works out!

@Charcoal, "Yah got any other problems I can fix?"

[XT Vengeance]

((Just so you all know, I am just using this to get Charcoal's personality straightened out.))"Not really Ma'am. Despite the reason why I got my cybernetics, they help me do my job even better than if I didn't have them."
"SCREECH!" The fiery bird screams out of the sky, grabbing a small rodent and carrying it off into the sky.

[Tytan]

"Well I imagine fingers help. Viktor seems to like them."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, they help me steady my rifle and because of the cybernetics I can manage the recoil on the heavier rifles a lot more. Plus, cleaning my rifle is easier."

[Tytan]

"Can't say I really know what you're talking about. I'm not much of a shooter."

Well Shadow, this your new home.
"Uh huh, looks just like the last place. Can ah go back ta sleep?"
What? I thought you slept already.
"Ya know that didn't happen. Not with how Blossom was last night."
Fine, go a head.
"thank ya." Goes back to his room and falls asleep.

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, I'm a sniper. I end up spending a lot of time out in the field hunting down raiders. You could say I know a thing or two about calculating the trajectory of high velocity projectiles."

[Tytan]

"Well that's a different story. It's a relatively simple calculation, until you start factoring in wind speed, but that isn't too major. At extra long distances you have to take into account for the spin of the round as well... The math is easy, the shooting is hard."

[XT Vengeance]

"Ha! The shooting for me is easy. I've always just been able to tell where I need to aim to put a round where it is needed. I guess that is why I have the cross-hair cutie mark."

[Tytan]

"And I can disassemble your leg from ten paces. Might be why I have a watch with no face on my flank."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, I can tell you one thing, I am pretty sure what I do now isn't what my parents had in mind for me."

[Tytan]

"True enough for most of us. But I'm pretty sure daddy wouldn't give a damn what happened to me... even if he wasn't six feet under."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm sorry. I didn't know," Charcoal says with an apologetic look on his face.
"I'll drop the subject."

[Tytan]

"No it's fine. He died when I was fourteen... I stabbed him in the neck and buried him six feet under."

[XT Vengeance]

"Oh...thats...different. I lost my family in the attack that took my leg. I was helping guard the family caravan, when raiders attacked. They got too close. I couldn't do anything."

"But, if it wasn't for that attack, I wouldn't have met Scorch. He saved my life, and I have saved his. We make a great team."

[Tytan]

"I'm sorry for your loss... and I should probably explain.

Mom was an addict and dad was an *Hoofquotes* 'Ex-Raider'. Dad'd get drunk or take a hit of whatever mom was on and he'd go to town on the two of us. One day Mom died of an OD and I was left alone with the bastard. He'd still get drunk, still beat me. Until one day I had enough. I took his knife, and stabbed him in the neck. He might have still been alive when I piled the dirt on, I never bothered checking, I wouldn't have cared if I did."

[XT Vengeance]

"He got what he fucking deserved then. Raiders aren't ponies. They only deserve death," Charcoal says, with anger in his voice.

[Tytan]

Clock felt a twinge in her chest, "Yeah... I guess."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm sorry. I'm out of line. I can't help myself at times. Raiders just make me so angry," Charcoal says, seeing the look on Clock's face.
Scorch lands on Charcoal's back, cooing gently.
"Hey buddy, hunting go well?"
"Squawk!" Scorch hoots happily, puffing out his feathers.

[Tytan]

"I get what you're saying, raiders are scum. That's how I practice procedures is on living raiders.

He was a bastard. He didn't deserve a family... but he was my dad."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm still sorry about that. I don't spend as much time in towns anymore. I've been too busy keeping raiders away from the caravan line I watch over."
"Squawkity squawk," the balefire phoenix says, smoothing out his feathers.
"Yeah, Scorch helps out as well."

[Tytan]

"He is a handsome bird."

[XT Vengeance]

Scorch coo's gently, straitening out his feathers and taking an pose.
"Watch out, he might just take a liking to you," Charcoal chuckles.

[Tytan]

Looks in the direction of Viktor but speaks to charcoal. "I think I've made a habit of befriending odd creatures."

"Why look Viktor?"

"Nothing buddy."

Cherry walks out her room and looks at Scorch, Charcoal, and Clock"Afternoon y'all. Ah miss anythin'?"She yawns

[Tytan]

"Well, I performed a dive on the software controlling Mr. Charcoals eye, now he won't be blinded by flashbangs... at least in that eye."

[Guest]

She looks at Charcoal"Yer lucky then. If Shadow gets hit with one of those He's out fer almost a week. It worries me sometimes..."She looks at Scorch"Sorry, 'bout Shadow, Scorch. He's a bit sensitive ta lights, ah'm sure he'll grow ta like ya..... Probably."

[Tytan]

"We could try wrapping him up in bandages before he gets burned... *Grin* preventative treatment!"
