"It's better than it has been in a long time," he says, smiling at her.

[Tytan]

"I can imagine." Clock gently rubs her hooves along his newly wired leg.

[XT Vengeance]

The sensation of feeling in his hoof sending chills down his spine. "..." Charcoal says nothing, a happy grin plastered on his face.

[Tytan]

"Speechless huh? Maybe I set the sensitivity to high. It wouldn't be good if I accidentally gave you a new erogenous zone."

[XT Vengeance]

"It...it isn't quite like that...but...good. Really good."

[Tytan]

"Good." Clock kisses his leg.

[Tytan]

"Clock...you don't know how much this means to me. To be able to feel my hoof again..."

"You're welcome... Just, take it slow. I put it together with spare parts, and it might take some getting used to."

[XT Vengeance]

"Okay. I will." Charcoal looks over to Scorch, who had fallen asleep on the chair. "Look at him, sound asleep already."

[Tytan]

"He's actually pretty cute when he sleeps."

"Yeah," Charcoal says, looking at Clock. "Don't say that to his face though."

[Tytan]

"I'll take your word for it."

[XT Vengeance]

"There was a raider that called him that once. The screams lasted at least thirty minutes while he burned."

[Tytan]

"I'm surprised. Usually burns that bad will put you into shock long before you die... if you don't die outright."

[XT Vengeance]

"Scorch told me that he slow roasted him. Probably one of the worst ways to go, even for a raider."

[Tytan]

"I can think of worse."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah, well I wasn't exactly happy with him after he did that. Nopony, not even a raider deserves that kind of death."

[Tytan]

"That's... debatable. But I get the feeling that's a touchy subject for you."

[XT Vengeance]

"I understand why someponies would disagree with me, but I can't do that. I may hate raiders, but I won't make somepony suffer on purpose."

[Tytan]

"And what if they've made others suffer? Raiders, torturers, filly fiddlers. Ponies that never showed anyone else the kindness you show them?"

[XT Vengeance]

"And that makes it okay for me to do terrible things to them? No. I just can't do that."

[Tytan]

"And that's justice? They get put out of their misery before they even know what's happened, and some of their victims go on just as miserble as they were before?"

[XT Vengeance]

"And if I was to go around torturing ponies, even if they were bad, that makes me any better than them?"

[Tytan]

"There's never been a time when you wished someone suffered for something they did to you?"

[XT Vengeance]

"I never said I didn't. I have. In fact, the first thing I did when I got this new leg and was fit to walk, was go hunting for revenge. It nearly got me killed Clock. In fact, I would have died if Scorch hadn't shown up around then," Charcoal argues. His shoulders sag after a moment. "I just try to do better, okay?" he says softly to her.

[Tytan]

"I understand why you feel the way you do, but I just can't feel that way. The only reason I asked was because that's the only thing I did while I was stuck in a tree for three days getting these," she shows him her scarred flank, "I wished the most horrible things on them. I thought my prayers were being answered when Vik came along and tore them apart with his bare hands. It was honestly the happiest I'd been during that entire ordeal, and I don't feel bad admitting it."
