So... is no one really even the slightest bit interested in that post I made, or did it just get lost in the clutter? You don't have to be interested or anything, of course, but I thought that at least one person would have acknowledged its existence by now.

@ Hinds : Well, I can't really say anything about the uniform stuff, as I'm not well versed enough in it to pass any judgment.
As for the helicopte/rotodyne, it looks cool.
I just have doubts over the practicality of putting the cannon so much in the center. I guess it's motivated by a desire to balance the center of gravity or something, but on the other hand every attack helicopter I know have the turret under the nose so I guess there's a reason for that.
Lacking a proper view under all angles of the design, I can't make any better judgment.

Aye, and it also means that the vehicle needs longer landing gear. I still feel lucky that there are any premade images of attack rotodynes, though, so I'm taking what I can get.Harmony Ltd. wrote:I just have doubts over the practicality of putting the cannon so much in the center. Why rotodynes, though ? Why not helicopters ? It's not as if rotodynes can go faster than helicopters, and IIRC rotodynes aren't Vertical Take-Off & Landing like helicopters, but Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing.

Eh? What's your source for that? The main reason for rotodynes in the first place is that they're faster than equivalent helicopters, and they're fully VTOL capable and have about the same, if not more, maneuverability in the air.Harmony Ltd. wrote:Why rotodynes, though ? Still, you've heard of them, at least; most people haven't, as far as I know.

Well, I don't have sources, as it was memories from some article(s) I read in a science vulgarization magazines years ago. IIRC it was said that roto/gyrodynes need, like, ten to twenty meters to take off or something (at least they were talking about one of these gyrodyne flying cars)
Wikipedia doesn't provide much general informations on the concept...

A picture of my folder isn't posting R34 properly. I don't see the issue.
But if you're sure, then I won't argue. I just don't see the issue.

I think it's 'cos the images themselves were visible in preview form; it's not so much R34 as just explicit imagery, if that makes sense (for instance, I could see Dash happily getting it on with some tentacles). Setting the view mode to "details" would alleviate the issue, if cause for comparing the sizes of porncaches comes up again.Kippershy wrote:A picture of my folder isn't posting R34 properly. Boys and girls, I should note - I know at least two ladies who are quite into ponies that way.Caoimhe wrote:You boys are all very gross and weird.
Anyway, let's not yuck one another's yums, as they say. I'm sure we've all got stuff we do that others would find weird and/or gross as an initial reaction; for example, more than thirty seconds of indie music has a tendency to give me a severe metaphorical bile buildup. Not sure why. It just feels physically repellent to me.
EDIT: I also don't like British weather reports in the middle of live BBC coverage of news incidents. >:|

I can understand the disgust in some music. I quit listening to Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Linkin Park because they lost their sound or just don't have the right feeling. I mainly listen to military music and things with a strong drum beat.

I mainly don't listen to a lot of mainstream rock because all they sing about is bitching about how their girlfriends left them, daddy didn't love them, and bullshit like that.

The point is, I recognize that just 'cos something's absolutely not for me doesn't make it awful. (Frankly, the opposite may be true =P) It's an important thing to remember, IMO.

Significant modification and rearrangement of the plot was done, but most scenes were recognizable to me.

Pumpkin baby! He's lookin' adorable.
@Hobbit
Since I haven't read the Hobbit since... probably second grade, I will be honest... I often had a hard time figuring out what was stuff I had forgotten and what was new. =P I'll say that I really enjoyed it, though.
