"I could agree on that. Speaking of which. What's your story?"

[Tytan]

"You want the long version or the short version?"

[Katarn]

Smiles a little. "Depends on your mood."

[Tytan]

"Well... Dad was a doctor and he met Mom who used to be a prostitute. Dad payed Mom to get laid. Dad and Mom fell in love. Dad and Mom decided to travel together. Then I came along.

We traveled most of my life. When I got to cutie mark age I started helping my dad with patients. I got my cutie mark. I helped Dad with patients.

Then Mom died. Then Dad became a drunk and couldn't stand looking at me anymore. Left me and the caravan behind. I took over the caravan and traveled some more.

Some stuff happened that I'd prefer not to talk about.

One day my Caravan was traveling around the Hoof and we got ambushed by some bandits. Caravan died and I got chased into a tree. Forced to stay in the tree, and if I tried to leave I got stabbed in the flank with a spear.

Three days later Vik showed up and saved me. We became friends. We traveled. I doctored, and he guarded. And then we ended up here."

[Katarn]

Her eyes widened at some points of story. At some she smiled at some there was sad expression on her face. "Quite a story you have here." Looks at Clock. "Chased on tree, for three days? Really? You don't strike me like pony who can climb trees."

[Tytan]

"Normally I can't, but you'd be surprised what you can do when you're terrified."

[Katarn]

"Well, won't deny that you can do some crazy stuff, when your life is on the line."

[Tytan]

"Wish I'd done something smarter than climbing a tree."

[Katarn]

"Like what? Use your magic to fly away?"

[Tytan]

"I don't know. Run away maybe? Discover I can shoot lightning out of my ass?"

[Katarn]

"Pfft." Starts laughing. "That was a good one."

[Tytan]

"Thanks. Didja have any other questions about my rather curious life?"

[Katarn]

"Yeah. I get where from you get your medical skills. But what's about cybernetics? I get, you can use them as limb replacements...but it's different to treating wounds and braked bones."

[Tytan]

"It's my special talent. Discovered it when a patient was having trouble with his cyber-leg."

[Katarn]

"Oh..kinda cool." Looks at her glyph. "That's nice, that you can not only patch up folks, but even fix their cyber parts."

[Tytan]

"It is I guess. I've never tried a cyberization though. I think I could pull it off if I had the right parts... and an operating room."

[Katarn]

Tilts her head a little. "And a vict--patient." Smiles.

[Tytan]

"I'll wait until someone loses something... don't help with that."

[Katarn]

"Awww...I'd never do that to anypony..or griffin." Innocent smile.

[Tytan]

"Sure, and I've never performed unnecessary surgeries on raiders."

[Katarn]

"I don't like those junkies too. Can't reason with them."

[Tytan]

"Not all of them are junkies. Most of'em are just assholes."

[Katarn]

"Didn't meet many of them..luckly. In most cases they were killed by dad, before they could get to me."

[Tytan]

"I bet he did. He doesn't seem the type to back down from a fight. I was impressed how well he was doing against Vik."

[Katarn]

"He's really strong. And yeah, he likes to fight...sometimes I think he allowed me to be with him, just to kick someone's ass, if they would try to hurt me."

[Tytan]

"Heh, using you as an excuse to kick more ass? Nice."

[Katarn]

"Well. At least I can spend time with him, get to know Wasteland and folks who live here better and, to be honest, with him I feel more safe, than with his grandma in Henver."

[Tytan]

"Isn't Henver a long ways away? Or am I thinking of someplace else?"

[Katarn]

"Doesn't matter, when you have someone with wings, who will carry you around."
