"Well, not from the start. At first I was at his place. I don't know did he planned me to stay there or were seeking to whom he wants to sell me. So I just helped him around the house, repaired his gear and stuff."

((Because I've been a little to eager with the sexy times, and now Clock is starting to look like a slut. I don't want her to look like that so I'm gonna hold off on it for a while.))

"Do you have any experience repairing cybernetics? That's my specialty, but until recently I haven had much practice. Like the other day when Charcoal showed up... wait, where'd Charcoal go? Dammit he wasn't lying, he can sneak away in the middle of a conversation."

"Well..I'd like to. I mean, I didn't have much practice, since mostly I've repaired stuff from Jay and other folks back in Henver. Most of them didn't like me, but whatever. So I've read about cybernetics in some books. Didn't lay a hoof in them yet. Buuuuut." Her eyes sparkles. "I have few ideas...I only need to chop off dad's arm..or leg...or both..." Ahem. "Nevermind."

[Tytan]

"You're an eager little one, aren't you?"

[Katarn]

"Guilty." Smiles. "What can I say? I can't live a few days without repairing, crafting or blowing up something."

[Tytan]

"If we can find Charcoal again he might let you take a look at his leg... or better yet we can find Vik."

[Katarn]

"You mean someone is cra---brave enough to let me...us...experiment with their cybernetics?" Large grin appears on Novae's face.

[Tytan]

"Well I don't know about me, but if you break Viktors arm he'll smash you flat with the other one because he's got an enchantment so he can feel his arms and breaking them actually hurts. And then Jay will probably get mad that you're dead, and then they'll fight, and then Shadow will fight, and then everyone will have a bad day."

[Katarn]

"Riiight. So...maybe catch other friend of yours and...tie him up?" Innocent smile

[Tytan]

"We could, but I just apologized for offending him earlier. We could ask nice and see if he'll let us take a look."

[Katarn]

"Well..we could do it this way. You do stuff with Vik's cybernetics, I watch. This way I won't get smashed." Happy smile.

[Tytan]

"Good plan, I like it." Clock turns to the door, "Hey Vik! Can I see yah for a second?"

[Katarn]

Waits patiently.

[Tytan]

Vik walks in scratching his head, "What Clock want? Viktor was sleeping."

"Sorry bud, it's time for me to do some maintenance on yer right arm. Our new friend here want to watch."

"Why stripey pony want look in arm?"

"Because she likes cybernetics, and I told her she could take a look. Don't worry, she won't touch."

"Okay." Viktor puts his right arm lightly on the table.

Clocks horn glows and some recessed bolts undo themselves. Half of the plate covering Viktors arm floats away revealing the complicated inner workings.

[Katarn]

Almost pulled out her multitool, but then remembered, that she promised not to touch anything.
"With magic it looks so easy. I can recognise some parts from book though."

[Tytan]

"Yer not gonna find a lot of this in a book. Most of this is custom made by Horse Industries... they were a big company based out of Hoofington. I'm not sure what some of this even is, but if I listen carefully enough it's almost like it's asking to be upgraded. But I haven't found the right parts yet."

[Katarn]

"Well..maybe I could help? Custom parts for custom hardware. Sure, it won't be as pretty, if we find actual parts, but I might think about few things. Will need some scrap metal, electronics...tubing and some other stuff, but I could try figure out how to make it right."

[Tytan]

Clock looks a little horrified, "I couldn't do that! These are works of art! Look at them. I couldn't improve anything about this design if I wanted to. Nearly every piece has double, if not triple redundancies. Whoever designed them was a genius. No offense, but I don't want sully his work by using parts we patched together from scrap."

[Katarn]

"Because finding original ones is best option. But I think you're right. Though I could make some...spare parts, if you wish. You know? Just in case."

[Tytan]

"You can if you want. But for the moment I'm keeping my eyes open for Horse Industries tech. Hopefully I can adapt it someday."

[Katarn]

"You know..it's kinda funny. I never saw a...dog..from what I've heard, most of them not really friendly. And you..most ponies would treat me...well like I don't exist at all...in best case. In worst...try to hit me and throw stuff at me."

[Tytan]

"Then those ponies are fucking morons. Holding a grudge for a war that almost none of us participated in? Idiots."

(Clock tying up Charcoal? Interesting suggestion Katarn. Its almost like you are tying to start something.))

Lays her head on table and watches Clock work. "Yeah...it's like I'm been guilty of something done by folks who looked like me..." Sigh.

"Imagine what yer ancestors, at least the ones not participating in the war, went through. Couldn't have been easy having stripes back then."
