Chuck the i7 down to an i5 3570k unless you're planning on doing some really heavy photoshop / movie editing stuff. If you only plan to game or do normal stuff, an i5 is perfect and i7 is just a waste of money.

Fuck the watercooler, go with a coolermaster 212 EVO.

Like fuck you need 32gigs of ram. Give me ONE god damned reason why you would ever go even above 8 gigs. Get sixteen if you must, but thirty two is stupid.

Unless you plan to have two graphics cards, which even then you'll want two of the same model/maker even then, you won't need any more than 750w to be comfortably above what you need on the PSU.

Do some research on your mouse, browse 4chan's /g/ for a mouse thread. You might find your mouse sucks / there's something better for the same price.

You can get an Inwin Fanqua case. You won't need to get a separate power supply then, as it's got enough to have one hi-end video card (600W). And it has five pre-installed fans.

If you don't plan on overclocking your CPU, get a i7-2600 without the 'K'. I don't know about cooling systems, so I bought whatever air-cooler I was recommended for it, temperature is ok.

32 Gb RAM seems excessive, but it's not as expensive these days, so whatever.

Also, get a Radeon 7970 instead. I don't know why, I just use Radeons all the time.

Gonna wait and see what's for sale though. Does it change or something on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Or do I just have to hope that the things are reduced? Also my current mouse is so tiny XD.

Good luck on keeping people alive. Aliens get so many lucky shots. Send rookies ahead as meat shields while building good characters. Sniper pair is efficient, one with squad sight and one with snap shot. Remember to research scope early.

There are a lot of different strategies you can try for XCOM. I personally used SCOPEs once or twice despite buying a bunch of them. Med kits help a ton, and arc casters are great for a little cash and technology/research boosts capturing the aliens gets you. All the perks are useful, all depending on your playstyle, too.

I agree with Kipper on the processor. 2500Ks and 2600Ks are cool, adequately powerful, and all, but his suggestion is likely better.
Too much RAM, I think. Twelve or even eight is plenty enough; most apps will only use two or four, at most.
The PSU is twice as powerful as need be, according to est. power requirements. Are you overclocking by like 75% or something?! Far as I know, doing that is only good at increasing benchmarks and hasn't got too much practical value, but that was in the past... The liquid cooler you're getting is a good choice if you choose to OC, but otherwise, I think a fan or two would do adequately.
GTX680? My old GTS 450 is still very potent running with my nineteen-inch monitor. I think that you could go with a 200-dollar card rather than a 450-dollar one and you'd be just fine, unless you plan on running two or three monitors.
Your HDD might give you better bang for your buck if you get a 1.5 or 1TB drive, because you'd actually use half the thing. I have a lot of stuff, and I've only half filled my 1TB. I don't know what kind of work-related stuff you do, but if it's mostly gaming? 1TB will do ya fine, I'd figure. The SSD, right on, though it'd be more economical to go with 128GB, since you're putting everything on the HDD for the most part (unless you want the speed boost for some of your apps, which is a fine idea) those things are still amazing. I have an eighty in mine, and when the rig was brand new, it booted in less than twenty seconds.
Motherboards almost always have onboard sound, even my budget one does. I think you can drop the sound card.

Maybe a .375 H&H or .458 Winchester Magnum; Anything larger and the recoil starts to become a problem unless you have a rifle that recoils in-frame other form of recoil management.

EDIT: Actually he could use a 14mm round with a heavier powder load. The rifle would be huge but the recoil would be manageable with the proper recoil system. I would say .50 BMG but my artistic side feels that would make him seem like just another raider.

^I was thinking about that. Could throw some power armor on the guy to make him an armored tracker. Wouldn't be an uber-sniper, more of a scout with a very big gun. The added strength would help him carry that SOB.

45-70 lever rifles have a very limited range compared to other big-bore weaponry. The heavy round-nose bullet causes it to lose velocity quickly and arc "like a basketball" according to some, maxing out at around 250 yards. There have also been suggestions that the tube-magazine had negative effects on the barrel harmonics.

I'm using an HP Pavilion Elite with an upgraded graphics card, handles pretty much everything. Blu-ray player doesn't work for some reason.
