Yeah, they're not the type to actively go out and physically attack people - but Adam is a fucking cunt loser who is always talking about it and talking how he'd like to burn/kill all muslims and yadda yadda yadda.

Iain like I say, is religious and despite being a dick at times, is a decent enough guy. I'm not saying all Christians are bad and all that - they're not.
I'm also not against personally being against gays... but when you voice that opinion, you welcome in everyone else's opinion too, and Adam hates that more than anyone else I've ever known.

Iain can handle it pretty well however.

I mean, I understand Iain is a very religious person so while it's not acceptable, it's understandable and I don't think it's as bad.

Eh, I'm pretty religious, too. I just also think that there should be equal rights for homosexuals. Separation of church and state... if we aren't going to give them rights, we should really take away the rights and tax breaks associated with straight marriages. As long as no priest is being forced to provide a marriage service he or she doesn't agree with, it's all fine.

I think labeling them homophobic, though, might be a bit much (and I realize, in this case, they appear to be labeling themselves that). They've got a very particular issue here, and feel driven to uphold it. They aren't going out of their way to badmouth or more aggressively persecute homosexuals, after all. It's just an ugly label and these two seem far from a couple of radicals actively seeking out gays to aggressively harass, making threats against their family, picketing their funerals... all that Westboro Baptist Church-y kinda hate.

I'd love it if someone could autotune that an octave lower. It just doesn't seem quite deep enough to me (I really only hear Deus speaking in Frank Horrigan's voice) and tuning it down artificially like that would help add to the weird, artificial quality of his voice.

I did tune that down... its too deep in my mind otherwise

As far as Fallout bosses/villains go, Horrigan is probably my favorite, if only because Ulysses is hard to pin down as a villain, per se.

His cool manner of speaking, complex personality, intriguing philosophy and mysterious manner make him more fleshed-out than some video game protagonists, and he's not Stupid Evil, either-- he can be talked down and convinced to help you.

Frank is just cool, and most other Fallout villains are too generic to be judged by anything other than "cool"

Kind of flat. Somewhat cartoonishly cruel and evil, with little pragmatism or depth.

Ulysses and Benny are my favorites. What gets on my nerves about a lot of villains is a lot of them aren't polite. Just cause you are about to kill a mofo doesn't mean you can't be a gentleman. Benny wasn't what I was expected, he was relatively polite (at least I thought so) and actually a gentleman even when you were going to kill him. Not generally trustworthy but I could respect him. Other than that I don't usually pay attention to the characters themselves, I'm more combat-minded and unless I need to know something important I'm usually thinking "Alright, how do I go about fixin' this guy's wagon?"
