The good news is my current edit of the world loaded great.
The bad news is, MC edit corrupted like 2/3rds of the world.
Looks like the transition to FTB will be nice and easy once I get the edits down.

Edits seem to have worked, the server is back under 400 megs. I'm off to do errands but the server should be up by 5pm Eastern.

We will be using ultimate pack version 1.02 which is the most recent verison. You just select Ultimate version and go, no adder packs of any kind. If the ultimate pack is missing anything let me know.

Footnote:I got my car detailed today, Having owned three car's previously that were not worth a dime it was my understanding that detailing is done Indie-car style with great swoops of activity and a well oiled machine.

Turns out it's instead done by two teenagers who take forty minutes to clean, vacuum and shampoo your car.
However the car looks great so can't complain there.

I tired as well. The server select screen says it can't connect to it, and when I tired to connect anyways it said I timed out.

I had to move everyone's spawn after the MC editing to make sure you did not end up in the endless void of null space. It's a one time thing.

BY the way, I noticed I had almost no lag, and that I could zip around in a quantum suit without having the game crash.

Did they finally optimize their modpack ? Or is it simply because the server has just been restarted and hasn't had time to clog itself up with a million different entities it keeps trying to shove down my connection each tick ?

Yes and yes, also the standard server is not 100% amazing unlike my home PC. So an extra eight gigs and no one using it except the server helps.

To clarify now that I'm in my Hotel six hours later, the server is currently running not on a server type thing but my main gaming rig. Thus taking advantage of the 8 gigs VS 6 gigs the 4.4ghtz vs 3.0 ghtz, the sparkle magic pixie dust vs off brand brownie dust.

And the fact I'm not there downloading shit. So all the uploads are it's uploads.

So I really enjoyed the tour the other day and I'm still planning on making my jungle tree house (speaking of which what's my range limit? cause I am liable to take over all the tree tops, including growing more.) but I've been looking over everything Feed the Beast has in it.

I think I'm in way over my heads guys. I mean, I barely messed with Redstone but this is nuts. I don't think I comprehend just what half those machines did.
