I've got a timeline question, I think. If we're taking Blackjack's dream about the Cakes' twins being at Littlehorn, that'd mean that S2 of MLPFIM happens something like between 3-6 years before the war starts, right? If Littlehorn is 9 years after the war began, and we assume that their ages are 12-15 (which seems likely, and I'd guess they're on the younger side of that spectrum)... and they're only a month old at most in S2... Hmm. But, according to the wikipedia at least, it's supposed to be "decades" since the start of S1 and the start of the war.

Well, technically there's no official timeline to the events in MLPFIM, so it's possible that "Baby Cakes" took place significantly after many other events in the show (I don't THINK the CMC were shown in it... Angel was, though, but he ought to be dead if the Wiki timeline is to be believed anyway - the drugs that'd prolong his life unnaturally weren't in development until the war, AFAIK, and rabbits do not live for decades... unless they do in MLPFIM, I suppose). It's also possible that the Wiki timeline is significantly inaccurate, or that the Cake twins were a mental oddity in the dream sequence, and not students during the attack - Blackjack DID see a picture of them in a shot of the Littlehorn Rock Club, so she could have incorporated them that way... but the facility was established DURING the war, so it's still a squeeze to fit the Cake twins in - at most, the war would be starting 15 years after the Baby Cakes episode - definitely not the 20 minimum.

Okay, looking at the Cake twins' later appearances in the show, it's pretty clear that "Baby Cakes" did not take place significantly after other S2 episodes, since they're still infants in Ponyville Confidential, which shows the CMC still the same general age as they always are (and still blank flanks, of course). So... yeah.

I dunno; personally, I favor thinking that it was not actually decades after S1 before the war broke out anyway - 20 years minimum is a long time, and would make the Ministry Mares be 50-somethings (at least - 53 if they were only 16 during S1E1) by the time the balefire fell, which seems somewhat wrong. The signs of age feel like they ought to be stress-related rather than natural.

Gah. Figuring out a basic Pre-War timeline is confusing as heck. Anyone care to take a swing at this? Also, did we already talk about this?

(Also, for the record, still not at the oh-god-what-is-even-happening stage of sleepiness yet... I do feel weightless, though!)

QUICK EDIT: Technically, I should say that the Wiki would be "inaccurate to Project Horizons" since PH is not actually canon with FOE. >_> Still doesn't explain the Angel bunny thing, but that can be handwaved, I guess.

Rampage is clearly OP.

Instead, I suggest removing trample, and giving her a 0-cost regeneration. I think it fits in more with her lore, as she can be negated in combat, but not utterly removed. Actually, hexproof would also be good...

Why would hexproof make sense? She is perfectly capable of being immobilized.
You probably also need a caviat like "If for any reason Rampage would be sent to the graveyard, shuffle her back into your deck". That's part of the invulnerable ability, though...

I cannot make sense of what Somber's card does, though. How do you make two land types the other types? Like, if the two you pick are blue and red, do they become a wildcard of white, black and blue? In general I'm just not familiar with plainswalker cards, though.

The idea behind somber's first +1 is supposed to be like his character. he is the author so by all means he gets to set the setting. you use it and you declare plains and mountain, all plains become mountains and vice versa. for the second, as the author he is allowed to introduce plot devices or new characters, but when something new is added most of the time something is also taken out.
the third was just kinda a joke which I am surprised no one has picked up on. but, as the author he gets to start new stories

the planeswalker abilities? the +s add a loyalty counter to it(the number on the bottom right) and the - removes counters.

Not only is it fanfiction, but it involves both Hasbro and Bethesda, so the legal shitstorm that would rain down in any attempt to commercially gain from Fallout: Equestria would be ridiculous. Besides that, there was a fan-printing that made physical books while side-stepping the legal stuff.

Not deck. Your hand.

Remove all extra effects, she's fully vulnerable to everything, killable, blockable, no haste (filly/healing phase). And she can be immobilized, stunned, whatever. She can't be killed.

Whenever Rampage is removed from the battlefield, return her to your hand. She can be played again for no cost in your next turn.
(of course summoning sickness applies, so the opponent will have a breather.)
This way the opponent would have a really, really hard time removing her from play. All things that remove cards from game, prevent regeneration, control opponent's graveyard etc, would be powerless. Probably only digging in opponent's hand after killing her would work.
