Just so everyone knows, refrigerators have become a bit of a running gag for me. Really it's less refrigerators, more the word refrigerator.

I'm not much of an artist... but I do have one picture I drew the night I discovered ponies.
Problem here is it's on lined paper, everyone cool with that?

I had but 1 dull pencil, and a lava lamp to draw this by, (no reference to this ) so shading was a no-go and it became, more lines=darker.

(If you look closely, you can see a crudely drawn family tree on the next page, gotta love those sharpies!)

I like it. That's a lot better than I could make. Hooves make things difficult, but you learn to use your mouth, and it becomes almost as effective.

No, I never claimed to have drawn the characters or cutie marks myself. The vector artists who did them are explicitly credited on my DeviantArt page for each work, e.g. here. My role is:

-Choosing what vectors to use
-Composition (this is the hard part - figuring out what to include, what not to include, arranging things, choosing spacing, sizes, etc.)
-Text

I'm proud of my ability to create striking graphic designs, but I do not draw the ponies from scratch. These are creative commons vectors, as are the resulting wallpapers.

Thank you again. I'll be posting the Twilight one soon, then I'm going to decide what to do next. I'm definitely going to do wallpapers for non-mane six characters, but I may make some other sorts of wallpapers, maybe avatars that are more involved than the one I'm using right now (just a vector with a screenshot from a LaTeX paper of mine).
