WalrusM3's artwork
Alright, only started drawing again for roughly six months. I've basically had a ten year skip of drawing in me life. Anyways decided to draw the character I'm using, Wally Grey in a roleplay I'm doing. I attempted using Gimp for the second time (Yes, second time only) to colour, didn't try using much shade though, apologies just forgot and here's him without the colour and with
Feel free to critize, slag it off and what not, though please remember I've not drawn in ten years.

Doing a few drawings of Dragonball Pony. Might encourage a few people to give the work a try and comment on it afterwards. Right now though I can't get the jest of the pony proportions, something I'm gonna have to work on.

Re: WalrusM3's artwork
I'm not super good at drawing but I would have to say that most of them are pretty good(super blurry though :P) I'd probably recommend not drawing stuff from the front angle like that though. When the show did it, it looked a bit weird to me so doesn't really translate well for other artists out there.

Yeah, I was mostly just wanting to challenge myself. I've made drastic improvements with meself because of experimenting and challenging meself. I think doing it from the Front angle has helped me already get a better proportion (Though not as much without the tutorial). But I keep forgetting to mention that I don't have a scanner and had to take them with my Ipod, which isn't that great for taking pics.

Re: WalrusM3's artwork
I would suggest maybe attempting at digital drawing. A lot of people like to see that then photo shot drawings(just a thought), or more presentable. But GIMP I don't really like to talk about that too much. If it works for you then keep on trucking. I just personally prefer Photoshop, or SAI(which is pretty much free). *to clarify on SAI, your supposed to pay for it but the place you pay for it is on a sketchy looking japanese site....I wouldn't trust them too much. Especially when their last update was like 2 years ago or something*

Re: WalrusM3's artwork
Yeah, digital art, everyone does think I should get into that. Problem is that I like to be holding a pen/pencil when I draw. In order to do it on computer, I would need a Pen tablet, which I already have, but its far too difficult, being that I'm drawing right beside me, when the picture's up there. In order to get the Pen tablet I want, I would need to fork well over £2,000, which obviously I can't afford.
I'm working on getting a scanner anyways so that it isn't discomforting to take them from my traditional work books and its not too bad to edit and colour my drawings digitally.

Re: WalrusM3's artwork
Okay mind you, I've only started drawing for 8 months of so and this is my fifth attempt at using a computer to colour. Not to try and skulk away from the harsh criticism out there, just don't act likely I've been an idiot for almost ten years. Soon as I get the equipment I want (Otherwords money), I'll be able to get better at this, for now another example of Dragonball Pony.
I only coloured Trixie because it was eating that much up of my time just to get some colour on. I intend to not have to use a computer one day, but I have no idea if it'll look anything as great, even if I use a computer to edit it.

Re: WalrusM3's artwork
Character is from Shades of grey which I've been following and decided to capture him in the scene he's in. And just so you know, I got permission from Inquistor M after I did this to show it to everyone.

Glad you've noticed the improvement, though really it is thanks to the program called Sai, it's what's responsible for the real change in my work. Though it'll also be because of practice and hard work. Boy the effort that it takes just to colour.
