I, too, played SR4 not a month hence. I concur with all of your points and am certainly not drunk and why would you imply that.

Question:

The in-game super-sprint + super-jump abilities, complete with the "endurance" limit... Isn't that basically Battery's abilities (that gal from Worm)? Or am I missing something?

Radical Entertainment did a good job conveying that in Hulk: UD and the Prototype series

It's a mechanic that needs to be used more often; you can chain together some pretty amazing leaps in those games if you max out jump, dash and glide

Sure, Spidey's got his webslinging (Although he DOES have the ability to run on walls in some games) and Batman has his grapple, but doing it without tools is so much better

I -LOVE- that thing. I clear "outposts" in a single click with that thing, with all attributes maxed-out on the Explosion-power.

It is quite satisfying, in a sociopathic way, to be able to wreak so much havoc with so little effort.

That's why I don't even bother investing in a rocket launcher.

On another style, I'm playing the early access, currently in Beta 3 "Galactic Civilization 3".

Once it's finally out, I'll be disappointed if there isn't a WH40K mod coming out.

Though to be fair, the in-game civ-customization tool would allow you to create close approximations of the various factions anyway (Imperium, Eldar, etc...).

The rest would be a matter of setting up appropriate scenarios if you you want the game to really feel 40K-like.



It would be hard to accurately represent the relationship between the Imperium and the AdMech, tho'. Considering the AdMech is, I believe, nominally a power independent of the Imperium's hierarchy (relationship status: "It's complicated").

Might help to know, is there a specific reason why you're nervous? Personally when I try to speak to anyone new once I make the initial push to actually speak to them it's much easier than I made it out to be in my mind.
