As far as I can tell so far, Yosemite is a significant net downgrade from Snow Leopard.

As someone who recently moved to Windows 8.1, I certainly agree about mobile UIs moving to PCs. But at least there's desktop mode, even if the start button is a lot less convenient than before unless you only ever need a few things—which was a case already covered by pinning. Also, flat and low-contrast UI design are things I have trouble getting behind for reasons covered by an old friend of mine in rule one here (I'm also looking at you, Office 2013 ).

Anyone see the pictures of the Mall of America screens saying protestors who didn't vacate the premises would be prosecuted? I've got a few questions about it.

1) I'm assuming the answer is yes, but is the Mall of America privately owned? I wanna give the protestors the benefit of the doubt and not think they believe they have the right to protest on privately owned land or in privately owned buildings.

2) Is the protest relevent to the location? If I were going to protest for I don't know... the ethical treatment of cornstalks I'd protest outside of a cornfield or something.

I'm assuming that the protestors are protesting what happened to Eric Garner which I would say is probably not relevent to the mall. I wanna give them the benefit of the doubt and not assume that the protestors are their for conveniance sake. You know something like "Well I would protest but I need to get my kid a soccer ball. Oh wait we can just protest at the mall."

So with that in mind are the protestors protesting something that one of the employees did that was particularly disgusting? Or capitalism? Or anything, disgusting bathroom conditions? Or did something the owners of the mall say make the protest relevent to the location?

I know I'm late to that particular party, but now that I finally have some time to enjoy playing it...

I have to agree with what someone told to me: SR4 -is- a really fun superhero game (though the "hero" part is... up to debate, so to speak).

Though considering it's the only one I've played with, I don't really have any point of comparison.

At least the fact it takes itself 0% seriously is a plus in my book.

The first game, at least what I remember of it from when I played it years ago, was serious. But after that they went for the less serious route. Guess they didn't want to compete with GTA. In Saints row 2 there's a mission where you lower property values by spraying them with shit from your sewage truck. There's bodyguard minigames where you defend a pornstar from their fan in which you can throw them into jet engines and another minigame where if you get in a cop car you play a cop in a reality TV show, which may or may not involve you enforcing the law with a chainsaw.

I recognize that the final clause of that sentence should have ended with a question mark. The period was for comedic effect as improper grammar is commonly used as a source of humor in many online venues where proper grammar is a matter of course (rare as they may be)

So today was awkward as hell. I just found out that almost everyone at my work, manager and supervisors included, was shipping me hardcore with this woman I've had my eye on. I really don't know what to think about this. On one hand I'm kind of encouraged, but on the other hand I'm appalled.

Apologies in advance if I waste anyone's time with my vapid bullshit. I normally don't do this.

Go for it. I don't mean talk to her or some shit. Just walk right up and take off your pants. You'll know if she's the one based on her reaction.
