Re: [Official!] Project Horizons Comment Crew Chat thread.
The mewgenics website is amusing. For those of you who don't know it's a game that's been described to me as a cat lady simulator made by the guys who did super meat boy and binding of isaac.
One of Edmund's experiences with the game did make it sound interesting due to the random things that can happen. To give a small summary of the events he wanted to breed his female cat so he brought a stray into his home and ended up giving the kittens the father's (I'm going to butcher this word) Narcelepsy while the mother got his feline aids.
Apparently there's a ton of mutations you can breed in from psychic powers to the more realistic and mundane tumors. It seems like a much more focused pokemon.
Though as a fair warning, obviously this game isn't for people who really love cats or lack a sense of humour. More speccifically a dark sense. Though if you've ever laughed at a sim you're probably all set.

Thank you Reddit for summing up a news story for me.
Reddit comment wrote:Wait wait wait... So you're telling me that Dog the Bounty Hunter is now after MMA fighter "War Machine" for beating his Pornstar girlfriend, Christy Mac, nearly to death, for a bounty posted in part by Fleshlight? Now that is some crazy shit.

If they send in armored units, there's half a chance I'd be following. HET's are in demand when the moving metal thingies are involved. If I ever meet you, I'll have to scrounge up a case of Rip-Its to split.Mister Frost wrote:And I can only hope to god that this goddamn shit-testing unit gets pulled from buttfuckin' duty to get sent.StoneSlinger88 wrote:With the way things are going, there might be a use for those sometime soon.Mister Frost wrote:In other news, one of the overstocked items the PX has on clearance is CIB's.

Citrus, obviously. None of that goddamn grape shit.
And, all "POG" jokes aside, if your ass keeps me from having to ride literally all over Iraq in the back of a Bradley, I'll be giving you road head the whole goddamn time. That's almost an exaggeration.

Hatched another shiny and it was a Caterpie. :I
I guess this the universe's way of telling me that the last shiny I got was too cool so my next one needed to be garbage.

I thought drivers were bad in France. That was before I came to Florida.
This shit is Apocalyptic.
Also: blown up ties everywhere littering the sides of the highway. What the fuck?!

I'm not sure what you mean by "to avoid having to tell people." Unless someone's wearing more stripes than me, I don't really have many problems telling them exactly what's on my mind, and even then, I just rephrase it respectfully. I really applaud you.")swicked wrote:I wonder how typical it is to admit things to people in your head to avoid having to tell people in real life?
I can't seem to format my question in a manner in which google provides relevant results.
I feel like I've been doing it more and more lately.

The only time you'll see that in France is when there's been an accident, and it'll get cleaned up shortly after the vehicle(s) get towed away.iLateralGX wrote:Blown up tires on the side of the road isn't normal?Harmony Ltd. wrote:I thought drivers were bad in France. Because that kind of shit is dangerous and can cause further accidents.
We had to swerve on the highway at 70mph in relatively dense circulation to avoid a blown up tie in the middle of the road which hadn't been pushed to the roadside yet.

Of course, I guess I can't really give an example of what I mean given it defeats the purpose of not saying things.
I guess I didn't really put enough thought into whether I should have asked the original question...

Oh I was never implying it was an okay thing or even safe. Just that it has been the norm my entire life so I never put any though into it being odd.Harmony Ltd. wrote:The only time you'll see that in France is when there's been an accident, and it'll get cleaned up shortly after the vehicle(s) get towed away.iLateralGX wrote:Blown up tires on the side of the road isn't normal?Harmony Ltd. wrote:I thought drivers were bad in France. I will admit now that you have said that I do notice that ever since I moved to Kentucky from Florida I rarely see tire debris on the side of the road. I just never really put thought into it before.

While we're on this topic, Karazor has recently been active, as well. Although I don't think that anyone had thought that *he* was dead.

I don't know if any of you are MGS fans but Hideo Kojima just announced that MGS: V and MGS: GZ are coming to Steam soon™
Officially call me hyped. I just need to get the legacy collection for PS3 now and I will own all of the important Metal Gear games.

I just want Snake's inclusion in Smash 4 to be confirmed. Never played an MGS game myself. Heard the plot is everywhere.

The plot of the MGS series can be replicated by taking an American Action Film, James Bond, and an Anime, and put them in a blender. It is VERY good.

It makes a lot more sense when you just accept that Kojima is fucking insane.

Me too, but just because I want the radio taunts. Don't have much interest in playing as him otherwise.

Little known fact:
Contrary to popular belief, the F in John F. Kennedy actually stands for "Fucking".
Anyway, had a blast at Cape Canaveral. Really cool day. Even talked with an old timer space engineer, who worked on the Gemini, Appollo and Space Shuttle programs.
Finished the day with a drink on the beach of Port Canaveral.
I actually prefer the Space Coast to the Miami area.

Eh, too glitzy and cheap-feeling for me. Just lights and bells going off in your face as everyone who works there screams "Have fun, goddamnit!"

I just found this quote, how accurate is it?
"There are only two branches of US military. The army and the navy. The Air Force is a corporation and the marines are a cult."

If any of the documentaries I've seen are right, then the bit about the Marines is spot-on. I can't comment about the Air Force.
