I'm going to be gone half an hour from now for two hours (classes), but aye, I can at least offer electronic hugs and consolation. 'Cos it is all gonna be okay, Kip. I've not seen or heard specifically what you saw and heard (I have had that reaction, I think, though I was younger at the time so, y'know, probably easier to repress, though the videos from Rwanda, post-Cambodia, and the Holocaust were more recent and still pretty hard to move past for a while), but it will nonetheless. You sound a bit traumatized, and that's normal, and you're brain's gonna learn to process that, given time and maybe some help. It's gonna be okay.

Having just watched the video in question, I see why you would be shaken up over it (though I personally wasn't).

Stuff like that, though, is why it pisses me off when people scream about 'brutality' whenever a cop does literally anything. Dinkheller could have (and should have) tased or shot Brennan about the third time he ordered him to step away from his vehicle, but he was probably too worried about everyone flipping their shit over it.
