Idea I toss in the idea bin, for those who may want to try writing it *glances toward swicked*:

Family week-end dinner between Fluttershy, Goldenblood, Whisper and Stygius, Tenebra, Stygius-mom and Stygius-Dad. Possibly with Velvet Remedy, Calamity, Ditzy, Lion (and Mouse) and Silver Bell invited.

Featuring awkward conversations, and adults trying not to speak about politics, and failing miserably.

Not to criticize, but two things:
1. That is a lot of characters to keep track of.
2. Politics of what? I'm drawing a blank here. Just monarchy vs. Democracy/Republic or something?

Yeah, that's a lot of people. Let's just restrain it the two families: Fluttershy, Goldenblood, Whisper on one side, and Stygius, his sister, mother and father.

As for politics, that was more when the previous guests come into play, and related to my own "30 years later" headcanon. But that part is unimportant.

Mostly, the idea was a "clash" of dysfunctional families, trying to enjoy a bit of family time and not drown in awkwardness (of course, with Whisper doing her best to defeat their attempts   )

Hey Somber, just wanted to say that whatever happens in this chapter, be it upsetting or otherwise; point is you've made me care!

From the start to all the way till now, you've made me care about the characters and about what happens.  I came to this party pretty late, started reading sometime after you posted chapter 63.  In that whole time I have felt so many emotion reading this.  It's made me laugh, cry, feel happy as well as crushing sadness; and that's simply because you made me care.  There's really only been one scene of one chapter that I wasn't happy with...I won't go into it because honestly it doesn't matter in the over all fic and the following chapter I felt addressed most if not all issues I had.  That's far more than I can say about most books/shows/movies/est

I really have no idea where this is all going, you've done a very impressive job of keeping me guessing.  But no matter what happens, I'm sure whatever emotions I feel will be very strong because you've made me care for Blackjack and her friends that much.

As far as I'm concerned, you're doing something right, so keep it up! :D

Oh no... oh no ho no oh no! Please tell me this doesn't mean that Glory won't believe Blackjack!!! I mean, that would be just... cruel at this point!

On that note, kudos on making the scene that I had been waiting for the most for about half a year, of Blackjack and Glory reuniting, heartbreaking.

But, seriously, Glory should believe her, right? I mean, if Blackjack would start telling her and the others things, like: where they met, that she shot her, how Glory got branded, that BJ's real name is Go Fish, that she raped P-21 long ago, how she almost shot her because of a Dealer (who is a coward and a traitor!), that their first time was in her Stable, how she hurt her with the suicide attempt, that Scotch had peed in her bed but Bj took the blame (would be a nice time to bring that back, just sayind ;p), how Glory lost her wing... what else... Glory's reaction when she had returned after that thing with Stygius, what happened in Sociaty... And lets not forget that Homage is there too!

So I am probably panicking... though seriously, if her friends wouldn't believe her, that would be the most upseting thing. Ever. And while for a while every chapter caused me to be slightly depressed after reading it for about a day, as long as Blackjack and Glory will be together again, I don't care!... I'm about to be surprised, aren't I?

Maybe this supposedly upseting thing would be Rampage dying? Cause at this point I would quite cheerfully read that. Heck, stack her into a lubster costume and use nipple-tazers on her.

Also, since I had just realized that I didn't give my comment on the previous chapter, let me say a few things.

Blackjack is the only pony ever who would sentence somebody to death by kindness. And the only one that could probably accomplish that.

When the fight between her and Hades started, I looked at the scroll bar, to gauge how much more of the chapter was left. Saw it was more than 50 % - thought: "Wow, that guy is soooo f***ed!". I liked how she started, by spitting whiskey in his face, and it might be because I had been playing WoW as a monk at the time, but I had expected her to whip out a lighter and incinerate him... but eh, that would have been too easy. Still, she won using the bottle. That was cool. Go Whiskey Queen!

A, question: Why can't Blackjack teleport with Charm? She didn't seem to have that problem when teleporting with Boo.

Another nitpick: Blackjack had been observing everybody who had a PipBuck via that... that machine she got from Lighthooves' brother, don't remember the name. But she was watching pretty much all of Hoofington, and she never saw any of those cosplayers? And what about how Stygius went to check things out and returned reporting that Cogs was taking control over everything, couldn't he go: "Oh, and by the way, there's about a hundred of Blackjacks out there"? I mean, I just got a feeling as if that was thrown at the last minute to increase the drama.

As for Zodiac... it might sound weird, but I never really liked her. I didn't suspect her of working for either Cogs or Legate, but I just disliked her for some reason. Even after she gave her augmentations to Blackjack. So I'm okay with her being a dirty traitor and getting killed. And yes. I know that she had a rather good reason for turning traitor on Equestria, but while I am also pissed about that, I meant her turning traitor on Zodiacs, Collegiate and Blackjack. I still say that those that betray their friends are the worst. Which circle of hell is for betrayers, btw? It's been a while since I played Dante's Inferno... anyway, that's where she went!

Homage, Velvet and Calamity returning? Didn't see that one coming! Especially glad for Homage, she is my second favorite pony ever (after Blackjack)!

Overall, awesome chapter, awesome fight, feels, and Drunkjack. What could we ask for more? Oh, right, Blackjack and Glory snuggling... Eh, hopefully we will get that in the next chapter... Wait, isn't the next chapter numbered 69?

Prediction: Scotch Tape dies horribly to a miniature weaponized hacked hostile Scootaborg. Blue Bomber does a big nooooo but then bangs BJ and feels slightly better for about 5 minutes. And then Coglady nukes Chapel with everyone (but her) in it.

Wait actually I take all that back, the crown thing is actually some kind of powerup plot device for robots and cyberponies and they were trying to find a convenient way to patch out the bypass commands in the cybernetics, and then things took a lewd turn. So instead they used it on a zebra robot that joined Chapel while BJ and co were away. But then secretly the robot is a part of the Brood and now they have ULTIMATE POWER! OHNOE.
