So SK and Tyler know where I live at now in Minecraft. SK offered to help out by delivering resources I'm low on or just don't have, and to help fill my moat with lava. And Tyler has offer to build me a rather impressive house. But not before wanting to play "Hey, want to take a closer look at my sword?" to which the Minecraftia gods went "Don't do that" and teleported tyler away and caused him to hit the ground really hard. Praise be to Adder!

   But seriously, I had nowhere to put them after jumping in the chicken pit and having my inventory flooded instantly.

Well if this isn't an abuse of the villager trading system.

Currently have a villager in my palace Tyler built for me. Trade him 12 cooked fish, I get an emerald. Trade him 15 pieces of white wool, I get an emerald. Trade him 16 uncooked chickens, get an emerald. And finally, trade him 10 gravel and one emerald, get 4 flints.

If he get tired of one trade, trade him the others till he opens back up again. I'm loaded with fish, I have a sheep pen and a ton of bone meal, and between SK's chicken pit and my own chicken far... I'm never running out of emeralds provided nobody kills this villager of mine.

Edit: Exhausted the fish, wool, and chicken trade and did the gravel for flint one. Unlocked the former three and a new one, 1 emerald for 7 apples. Once I exhaust the others again I'll cave and do that one and see what's next.

In other news, thanks to Ketchup and SK for helping me build a road from spawn town to my village. It's four blocks wide, made of cobblestone. It heads north from my village, turning west at a small safe house/storage building I had set up when I was getting sand one day since I got caught outside at night, and there was plans of the road turning north again straight to Adder's lava tower but I thought it best for everybody to work out how it's actually going to connect to the village. But the road itself is easy to find.

The other option was a diagonal line from town to village, but I'm pretty sure as "straight" as it would have been, it would have been even more of  pain to build.

Lots of people play on it, but we don't have the nightly collaborative builds like we had last year.

Yeah that's true.... I'm thinking of putting a stable outside of my village. To move my horses outside of my barn, and a place where people can keep their horses when they visit me.

Ketchup ended up killing his horse when he came by. I feel really bad about that since he was trying to find a way inside the village when the horse fell into the lava. I gave him a saddle and let him take one of my spare horses but I still feel bad.


Anybody want to try to help with that?


And there's the lighting of the road and maybe even a protective fence to keep the monsters directly off of it.

Okay... I know Kidney has been logging in and doing stuff, but I doubt she's ever build a stone tree and what's up with the smooth stone structure towards the East of my place that also goes down into yet another abandoned mineshaft?

Yeah it looks like a modern art piece. Also, props to tyler, he mentioned wanting to do some stuff in minecraft and I mentioned how I would like a stable outside of my town.

Since I trust his creative vision I let him build while I gathered supplies.

Due to lack of interest in the server I'll be removing it from professional hosting and moving it back to personal hosting.

I'm trying to install a FTB pack again, but I just get an "Error occurred during downloading the assets", for some reason... The one I'm trying to install is Ultimate 1.0.2.

[upd] yeah, that was just my antivirus.

So... Well, query: what are you going to do (if anything) with the server?

The server is currently MIA but I am... experimenting. I've got the old server working minus any of the 1.47 mod stuff with just vanilla blocks and I've been working on again off again the last month to try and get it working again even if lots of stuff will be missing since many of the mods we liked are no longer updating.

Hey Adder, just by curiosity, how big is the old PHCC server in term of disk size?

The map, all dimensions included, I mean.

646 megs in size, and it's all under 8000 blocks wide but that's not counting multiple dimensions.

Maybe, might have been me.
And yes your tower is still visible. In fact the game will load in vanilla mode it's just missing all the blocks for FTB.

Yeah. Considering I started building it when the server was still Vanilla, I'm not surprised. :D
