Also, we've not gotten official scores yet, but our platoon may have won BRM because we had something like 40-50 Sharpshooters and only one No Go (who'd been injured for all of White Phase anyway) while all the other platoons had close to ten No Go's each and at least a dozen or so Marksmen, even if they had more Experts than us.

Anydick, we're doing Grenades, ARM and wrapping up Combatives before Christmas break, so the next few weeks should be interesting

Fucking policy is to qual on the damn fuckin' 68s now, apparently, but our Drill Sergeants made sure to get us some range time with the irons because they realize that's a dumbass policy. 

Anydick, I get the feeling we may have some people quit in the coming weeks. Because we're being trained on a fast-track to get it all done before leave, the drill sergeants rarely have time for "extracurricular training" in response to the turds around here. Running around doing battle-drills in IOTV's and full combat loads'll be quite the mental and physical shock to all the assholes who still think they're at summer camp and don't bother to do PT on their own when we get the chance

Our drills waited until the day after the gas chamber to get rid of the turds. Completely worth it, one of them flailed around and cried the whole way out. The civilian photographer got video, and it's fucking hilarious.

So, how was everyone's Turkey Day (for those of us who celebrate it)? I had a good time, close family came over, the gravy was especially delicious this year, mum used her amazing breadmaking skills to make some fantastic rolls, I read the latest Stephen King novel (it's not that new at this point - really good, though), and we all took a nap after dinner. Super nice.

Was allowed to sleep in late, went quite literally down the road to my grandmom's where we had Thanksgiving this year, enjoyed being there with family, my aunt and cousin with his wife and kids and my middle sister with her husband and kids, ate too much, came back home and didn't have to work, spent a lot of time in minecraft, and than I played TF2 which I posted about in the Steam thread.


Overall it's been a good day. I expect hell to break loose tomorrow since it's probably gonna be non-stop cotton picking the next few days.

Meh, ate brunch with my family.  Played video games with my nephews and nieces.  Found out there's a entire branch of godlike extremely difficult video games called danmaku and the idea of playing god tier difficulty video games certainly got my attention.  Basically for danmaku games Contra is considered easy.
