I haven't gotten too deep into it, but its apparently sort of like 2d minecraft (like with the crafting system and building) but its main focus is on combat.

It's addicting as fuck. Can be frustrating at times, but if you enjoy self assigned exploration then you'll enjoy it.

To be fair, that would be a fanfic that stayed true to the story telling methods of the show.
