The first time you see the character that girl is cosplaying as she's standing at attention while being berated by her drill instructor for eating a baked potato while in formation. She goes on to explain why in very emotional terms.

It's for next semester, need it since I transferred schools and registration didn't even open up for me until last Friday. She said she'd have it done before then.

Oh, you just want to cancel your class prior to it even starting? Why can't you do that online? How did you register for the class in the first place?

It's not that I registered.for it I already took it at a different school and my advisor said that she would try to waver it so I could get the credit I earned. Now she's saying that I need to go talk to that department and the person that deals with that isn't their. Normally this wouldn't be too bad I just wish she would have said I needed to do it instead of saying she would take care of it.

Just finished watching the doctor who 50th anniversary. It was really good. The good thing is that it fits perfectly in the lore cause anyone that has watched the show already knows gallifrey is timelocked.

Oh sh*t.  I just finished the final scene of the doctor who 50th anniversary.  The entire timeline makes sense now.

So about 6 years ago in order to promote fitness and to make themselves seem interesting to young voters the goverment made a push to  promote 'Xtreme' sports via the youth and spotrs ministry.

So as a young teenager I picked up paintballing and over the past 6 years have collected thousands of US dollars worth of equipment.

Meanwhile the global economy took a beating, as a result our goverment ran out of money, for whatever reason we cant print and spend money we don't have unlike other countries so the police force has been under funded for the past few years.

Couple that with the growing number of refugees/illegal immigrants stuck here in terrible conditions and you have a dramatic rise in the number if violent crimes particularly gun related ones in the past few years.

So the government has been taking measures to make it look like they are doing something, the one announced today is surrender all your airsoft and paintballing and any other violent gun shaped devices the police, you will not be compensated in any way for it, because in 30 days owning one will be treated as if you have a real firearm in your possession and you will be fined and jailed accordingly.

So the current plan is to wait a few days see if everybody else ho shares my hobby can organize a successful (unlikely) movement/protest to make the government reconsider, otherwise I'm going to have to had them all my stuff and the sentimental value attached to it to be stored in a government warehouse forever or sold for scrap. probably throw in all the nerf guns too, i doubt they can tell the difference.

You know that brings up a interesting side point.  Why aren't there more fallout equestria sidefics that take place right after the bombs or a couple years after?  Fanfics circa the time of the original or after have been done to fucking death and back.  It would be a extremely gritty variation on the world, and I don't mean the "constant violence" sort of gritty so much as fighting against the elements, freezing cold of nuclear winter and struggling to find food sort of gritty.

Basically imagine metro 2033 + fallout equestria.

I was thinking more along the lines of after the bombing.  The first hundred years have next to no fanfics about them and considering that what happened during the war and what happened near when the goddess and red eye started entering the scene are for the most part already set.  You have your beginning and end points already set out for you.

What I mean is there needs to be more year 0 after the bombs to 100 years after the bombs fanfics.
