To be fair the video game industry punishes creativity and good writing. If they were to stop making new skins or such they would be bankrupt faster than enron.

People care about lol lore? I thought most people approached it like a fighting game. Pick whatever character has moves that look cool to you.

Some of the LoL lore is kinda cool (at least I thought some of it was), but it's overall not very good. Not even mediocre.

I don't think it's really fair to fault them for the way the market is. Especially with the way that the pricing model works for that game. I could be wrong but it's a character by character basis right? If it's more likely a player will buy a sexy female character than that's what I'd make too.

Well, for example in dota you don't have to buy character to play with it, all characters are available. You can buy though custom announcer, visual (and only visual) weapons/armor/etc for characters. Hell, you can make armor/weapons yourself through steam workshop and if you get high rating it will be put in shop, so others can buy it and you'll get some money from every time someone buys your item(s).

At least they don't sell the characters like how EA sells dlc. Imagine having to pay $20 for every new spell.

I remember people bitching about UMVC3 despite the fact that if they released the characters as DLC they'd likely be the same price as Jill and Shuma Gorath (I'm pretty sure I misspelled that.) and it would end up costing much more than the new game would.

Every new spell? If EA was in charge of lol, you'd have to pay 0.05$ for every item you buy, while playing match or buy it for double price and would have to wait 20 minutes, while you'll be allowed to buy any item.

By what do you mean "One-sided" in this case? It's an action/drama with themes of cosmic horror, not a porno. It's set in the darkest possible version of the Dark Ages, so most women are treated like shit regardless. There are a few main female characters regardless, but the main one is currently insane after a *cough* run-in with a newly-crowned Godhand, and the other's a very conflicted and very fucked-up former inquisitor.

The usual, that x only happens to y, or that all z does q. Possibly not the PH extreme, but you know.
More or less that it doesn't just beat a dead horse so to say.

@Robo: Flash Sentry and... honestly hard to pick...most others I dislike I do due to the cause of the fandom... (like Pipsqueak and Spike) and also the one that made that thing to start with xP (on a side note, was tempted to mention some PH characters for the lols xP)
