Just reminds me of the time I nearly turned a speech class into a debate with the professor about as far a "video game inspired violence" in children goes, a certain amount of blame befalls the parents for either not paying attention to the ratings of the games their kids play, or just not caring.

She was in the camp of "all video games are just for kids and thus shouldn't contain things not appropriate for them"  to which I counter that video games as a whole are over 30 years old with a rating system put in place in the 90s similar to that of movie ratings, and that most of the video games listed as the reason kids are more violent are usually rated M, which is the similar to a R rated movie.

Over all my point was that none of this "is [insert form of media here] making children more violent?" is new, that video games are just the latest target, and that all this blame is an attempt to focus on one target instead of admitting there's more factors involved.
She relented, I got a passing grade on that paper, the world kept spinning.

Then she obviously knows nothing of what she's talking about. If you found the adequate sources, I'm sure you could easily show that more than 50% percent of the sales on the videogames market (excluding facebook and mobile games, which represent a large part of the market but which aren't thought about by these people (your teacher) as "videogames") are made by people over 18.

Funny how I'm in Journalism when I rarely if ever watch the news because most of the time I feel like what's being covered either isn't news, or has already been covered to the point of redundancy of pointing out how redundant how much it's been covered.

Kind of related, but do you want to know what I find darkly humorous? The fact that when I watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report I feel like I'm getting more informed than when I watch cable news. I know they aren't real news shows, but they actually talk about the stories in some depth instead of trying to boost ratings through any means necessary.

Fuck. Cunts haven't even bothered to fucking run it through QA by the looks of things because I can't even do the first fucking mission without a game-breaking bug.

As for performance, yes, it's better on the PC.
I'm using an Intel i5 3550 @ 3.3ghz (stock) along with an AMD Radeon HD7950 and the game is set to 1920x1080 running ultra graphics and it's coming at roughly 55+fps at all times.

Keep in mind, it isn't finished yet for PC. They know it won't work right yet.

I'll probably get it for PC whenever it goes on sale, just for better performance. It runs driving somewhat poorly on the 360 version, and the graphics are not stellar.

The machine I'm getting soon won't have problems with it at all, but I doubt this one would either.
