As for Project Horizons I would have to say somber's writting style is more flushed out and mature. I don't mean violence mature, I mean more experienced. The only really bad scene since you've stopped reading was the tank fight with deus. His writting style is more solid. The pacing is pretty solid too, with none of the new arcs ending too abruptly or too slowly.

Pulling from the panel I went to at Dragon Con, as far as one of the comic people know, it was ITunes that requested the change, not some angry letters by some offended moms. If anything ITunes requesting the change is what to prevent any controversy.

Course with that said, she's still Derpy in the comics, and Ditzy Doo in other places, and it's probably for the best that she only has a muffin to identify her for now.

Yeah they pretty much have cause even though derpy was pulled from season 2 the sjw would not shut up about her. You should have seen some of the shit they were petitioning hasbro to change. I think after over a year of listening to their pscyhobabble they just stopped caring about whether or not someone felt offending about something.

If the people trying to keep derpy out of mlp weren't so crazy and constantly threatening to sue hasbro for all their worth, but never actually bringing a court order weren't so wacko then hasbro may have actually listened to them.

It's like having a conversation with someone and they start out with a really good point about a argument, but then five seconds later starts screaming and throwing food at people while jumping to and fro cafeteria tables threatening to call the cops on everyone.

It's a good thing Hasbro is ignoring them now, cause if a show is more worried about not offending a single person anyone then that strangles the writter's creativity and will make the show's quality take a shit. Eventually someone somewhere is going to be offended about something. Hell there's even a news channel that specializes in feeling offended and people using fake tears while showing more nazi propoganda than a WWII museum.
