That's actually fairly accurate. I work in the kitchen at Chic-fil-a, so insulting the customer is something the crew and I enjoy doing.

Fucking wow, just fucking wow.  I accidentally ran into one of the biggest retarded internet fights I have ever seen so far by accident and oh boy does it knock a couple IQ points off from reading it.

Who here loves the metal gear franchise?  Well apparently the internet is exploding cause someone commissioned a drawing of big boss in the skimpy female clothing of the female main character from the upcoming game.  The drawing is to be honest pretty damn hilarious.

To make it extremely short the internet responded with a dick fight about the female character's clothing.  The metal gear franchise has child soldiers, torture, people who have been raped, people so fucked in the head they believe killing will set them free, terrorism, assassinations, children abductions, murdering innocent civilians, killing cops, illegal forced genetic engineering, designer babies raised to be killers, and a million different things and that is the thing the internet gets hung up on.  Wtf is wrong with the internet?  A game franchise with large scale terrorism and that's what gets people upset?

I think they're getting hung up on the costume because of how the character is treated. The perception is that the character isn't getting the respect she deserves because of this new outfit, along with the usual mutterings of 'double standard'. Normally, I loathe that sort of objectification and would agree, but, in this case, there's not a double standard-- Snake was in a skintight man-catsuit since the first game, and people didn't lose their shit over that. The series (limited as my experience with it is) has no problem treating characters, even somewhat sexualized characters, with respect.

Even though snake is mgs:4 was old you had to admit he did have a nice butt.  That you could see nicely every time you sneak crawled you would see every muscle ripple through his suit, his glutes stretching in that skin tight camo suit and you were staring at his butt 50% of the game.  Raiden may not have had a sneaky game in revengeance, but there was nothing sneaky about what the developers of the game were thinking about when they came to camera placement.
