Oh god damn it Eiken. Teenage curiosity lead me to watch it. I've somewhat managed to remove it from my memory. The anime is the lowest form of attempted fan service... scratch that, it's nothing but "fan service". There's a plot if you can call it that. Something about the school cultural festival and the main character doing his best to win the heart of the shy girl he likes while preventing the most popular guy in school from doing the same.
Does has some funny lines. Something about how one girl only has A cups when they're C in the least.
The manga isn't much better. Typical unwanted harem anime just that some of the girls have tits the size of their heads and bigger.
The 12 year old in the picture I think is suppose to be a parody of the over developed middle school girl. The other one is the stereotypical "unknown aged" upper classmen who may or may not have graduated years ago but for some reason is still a highschool student.
Damn I remember too much about that. Curse my unpredictable, overly detailed memory.

EDIT: Completely unrelated to anything, but I remembered it existed today. My favorite academic article ever. You need access to JSTOR to read it, but I remember writing an essay about it in high school.

Some of you may recall that one of Camo's non pony related baits was a character from the relatively new anime Girls und Panzer who's obsessed with Tanks.
I would like to take this opportunity to declare that I to have an anime related bait and it's this girl from Evangelion.
I have 4 very good reasons that I like her.
1. Dem Glasses.
2. I find her to be a much more relateable character than the main cast.
3. She's just this side of batshit crazy, and I love how eccentric she is.
4. There's this one scene were she actually goes batshit crazy with a giant robot and it's pretty fucking awesome.

She's also one of the way the new Evangelion movies went off the rails as far as the original story haha. Shows up in the second movie, which is also the one where Shinji forgets he's in Evangelion and thought he was in Gurren Lagann haha.

Wait, are we allowed to have non-pony bait?
If you don't know him, he's from Steins;Gate.
If you haven't watched Steins;Gate, watch Steins;Gate. It's slow to start but I've been watch Anime for many years, and this is the best I've ever seen. Seriously. Watch. It.

I do recall seeing that picture before, and found myself, for some damn reason, weirdly moved. Chell has just fought her way--several times--through a cold, artificial hell where the very walls are trying to kill her and a pair of insane, unstable machines lord over the realm like the petulant gods of old. The smile and relaxed posture says it all--she's finally, finally free.Harmony Ltd. wrote:http://rain.nxe7.com/Mister Frost wrote:Huh. I'm still trying to work out the implications of the fact that I connected more with the silent woman whose past we barely glimpse than just about any character that other games throw in my face, saying "LOVE THIS PERSON, YOU TWAT. LOVE THEM AND SPEND MORE MONEY"

Re: [Official!] Project Horizons Comment Crew Chat thread.
It's a box. A box distinguished from every other box by the fact that it had a heart on it. If not for the fact that the singular level it physically appeared in lacked any other boxes, I'd have not bothered.
Incidentally, the fact that players kept running past the one box on that level is exactly why they put the heart on it.
EDIT: I should mention, however, that I understand its significance in the story as far as how the characters treat it. People in long-term isolation, from the little I've heard, do tend to personify different objects as part of their "going bonkers" process

Re: [Official!] Project Horizons Comment Crew Chat thread.
The "joke" or meme or whatever the hell it's considered, about the companion cube was lost on me the first I heard of it and wore thin before I even played the game.
I get it, it's a box with a heart on it, supposedly doesn't feel pain, and the test chamber you use it in is designed to make you feel something for this box, even though you may or may not have been forcing other boxes through those weird field to destroy them for fun anyways, and then throw this one box into a fire.
And then, this box that had been chosen by the insane computer that you must feel something for, is brought up into your face a few more times about how you brutally destroyed it and make you feel bad.
Yeah, when I finally played Portal for the first time and came across that test chamber, I went "Ooo, so this is the companion cube.... it's just like any other box." I went out of my way in Portal 2 to save the cube cause there was an achievement and I guess in universe as a screw you to GLaDOS.
Really, we gamers and internet users in general have a habit of latching onto something and milking it for all it's worth till there's nothing left but a shriveled, dried teat that if you only knew about it from all the jokes it doesn't live up to the hype built around it.
Case in point, "Arrow in the knee."

If you think I'm in it for the money,
you are sorely mistaken.
I get more from my legal activities than I would do from criminal ones while being able to enjoy it later.
No, I do it it for the art.
Maybe one day I'll show you my collection ?
