It's going..I've just returned there, so I can't say much.

It's still going. Red is preggers, acting as surrogate mother for Buck and Shayle, a bunch of season 3 characters have shown up for some interaction and retconing goodness, and I spend more time as Moody than I do as Moodstone or Lavender.

Where does Coloradium post their artwork? I follow them and I only know their DA.


Also personally I don't understand why people RP. I've done it a couple times before, but I just don't get why it's so popular or why people like it. I don't even get why so many people write fanfics of their OC or such. To me it's just weird. The only thing that really annoys me though is when someone inserts their OC or personification or whatever you want to call it into a already existing mlp fanfic and try to canonize it. Ah well different strokes and all that.

Not sure about everybody else but I roleplay because I find it fun. Between the non-serious, and really crazy season 1 we had here to the more serious, months of planning multiple game sessions to finish, it's just fun.

Granted if one isn't careful it becomes almost like a chore or job to be in one. Or you get burned out cause you've been at it for months straight with no real break.

Can't say much about writing fics about shoving OCs into existing stories. Some do it for fun, others for practice, and some to "fix" the original.

I'm gonna have to second Moody on this subject. I RP because it's fun, and I always have new ideas to share in some way. But it can feel like a chore, I know that from my time in the Vamponies RP group on FimFiction.

As for writing stories about OC's, I personally do it because I'm not entirely satisfied with the MLP canon as it is. While I have interest in the characters, I'm not willing to put up with that one person saying that so-and-so is out of character. With a character of my creation, and especially a setting of that sort, I have free reign. I get to call the shots, and I know what I'm doing. Working entirely inside someone else's work is a shitstorm waiting to happen, if the FoE community elsewhere is any example.

@RP: Robo is a lazy bastard whose attention span is limited to shiny objects and World of Tanks. And for that, I sincerely apologize. I really don't have an excuse.

Maybe we can do a small aside for Moodstone/Alex while everyone else does their fun little retconning business? It'll have to wait until I get back from vacation, though. My internet connection is absolutely shit right now. Sometimes I have to tell it up to ~20 times to reload a page before it does so.

Well, we kinda stopped. The only RP going on right now is the Post Season 2 which isn't super structured.

I occasionally entertain the idea of starting my own serious RP here on the forum. However, that would require writing a story for it, and since I have my own actual story that I'm working on, that a few people have put quite a bit of effort into, that would be a middle finger to them.

And that's terrible.

Yeah, we have REALLY slowed down since when we first started. Think season 1 was the very first thread on the site to require a split.

Would have been better if we had actually worked on days we could all meet up around the same time to role play rather than constantly coming back every day and just working with whoever we had. Still, as I've said many times before and was reminded when I read through it all again, season 1 has a place in my heart cause of how much fun it was over all.

Seriously, it's a bit ridiculous. I mean... look, having known a transgender couple, who were very open to talking about the ins and outs of the relationship, the sex that the futafolk have in art is, comparatively... remarkably prosaic, I guess is the right way to say it. Like you're pointing out, it's not very imaginative, and, well, pretty damn close to plain old hetero. It does not stand up to reason. And I get that it's really not supposed to, it's just a wild and crazy kink and really shouldn't be examined this closely (like for most kinks, the applicable phrase is: "Don't like it? Don't do it."), but srs.

Oh, jeez, I just had a terrifying idea for a post-romance body-horror story based on the concept of R63.

Anyway! I have found, after much searching, a Gabler edition eBook of Ulysses. Huzzah!
