Siv HD is finishing up a charity stream, he raised (as of this moment) $55k, which got bumped up to $713k by multipliers and stuff (matching donations from corporations and suchlike I think). So, uh, that's really, really impressive.

It's funding for newborn/child survival programs in the developing world.

You know, whenever Paradox gets around doing a new Hearts of Iron game, I'd like it if they got around fixing the glaring issues of HoI 3. Mainly, making a GUI that's useable (we're in 2013, dammit), and fixing the numerous issues plaguing the AI.

Oh, and if they could also make it so that the game doesn't feel like a spreadsheet-travaganza, that'd be sweet.

Nah, make the turns, like, only one weeks long ? That's over 300 turns for a 6 years historical campaign. Add 150 other turns if you want to start in 1936 like in the HoI games. And 150 other turns if the war somehow finish in 1948 for you (timer limit).


By the way, I've just seen that there's a franchise pack on steam right now on the "Wargame : European Escalation" titles (the main game and the expansion). With European Escalation itself being only like €5.

And I know. And I am glad we suck less than we did then. (but tbh, up here we went back hundreds of years, just to revert back to how we had it hundreds of years prior to that. Because vikings.) But that said, in general, no matter what terms I go with really, herms are male. If just going with what's beteween their legs; male. If going with what they "identify" as; male. If going by any overall behaviour; male. Very, VERY few herms even have anything remotely "female" about them. And I personally hate using that phrase, as like said: it's not a stereotype or role. But literally nothing about around 95 % of them gives off anything "female" to me. Anything other than them insisting to call "themselves" as such... if giving a weird example: It's literally almost to me as ex: ... lets see... overly girly stereotype... I guess like, any early disney princess or like, Hello kitty or something, take that, have them put on a fake moustache and run around being stereotypically "girly" as fuck, and then insisting to everyone they're "male" and "manly as fuck". Or the stereotypical "Chuck Norris" or "Schwarzenegger" insisting they are feminine and a "good little girl". Totally convincing is it not? To me, that is more or less the generic herm. There's close to nothing female about them, they're a bland pile of stereotypes and porn norms.

And again: I know that is a important part of history, but as said above: to me, it feels like we'd been way ahead in Swe if we never left our asatro. I might be wrong ofc, but considering that literally female life span, health and happiness dropped by 50 % as soon as we swapped religion, I am a bit sceptical.

Like said: My problem with them is that they ARE the bullshit gender norms. And I hate the retarded sub-culture developed around them and the societal cock worship fantasy. That, along with the overall ALL generic porn norms are just harmful. That, not to mention how bland it all tends to be.

If anything, I'd personally lynch the fuckers, as they literally do nothing but set us back further. I don't have much against the general concept, or those that actually can make "proper" herms, but that amount is so minimal it's barely notable. So, as a whole I just want to abolish the current porn norms, the futa culture with it. (the stereotype one, don't mind futa's, heshe's or herms as a whole, only when used with the "transgender stereotype".) But yes, it would be nice if we'd reach a point where we could drop all generic norms and social stereotypes.

And eh, personally got quite a few retarded offers, then had people flip the fuck out when stating that "Normally, it's considered polite to open the first conversation with someone with something like, "hello" or such." Not their dick size and how they're sure I want to be rammed up the ass while being called their little bitch. Like, if they can't even take the 2 seconds  to figure basic shit out, (really, my userpage on that site is HARD to miss my overall "demeanour"... ok, not as obvious as someone mistaking Chuck Norris for Justin Beiber, but it's not THAT much far from that... sorta like someone mistaking Somber for me. Or vice versa.) I don't consider them as having the right to get upset. But trailing off here.
