look at it the other way, what was her crime that her mother tried all other avenues before turning to this one final lesson?

Well, that's the thing : we don't know.

For all we know she could have done nothing really wrong and simply pissed her mother off in a family squabble.

And even then, turning not only her daughter, but her daughter's people into monsters, seems like excessive retaliation. At least that's my point of view.

A bit annoying at the beginning, I don't care to follow a child, but it gets more interesting with time. Holy crud, though, that is some intense bullying. An environment that encouraged bullying, no less. Amazing she turns out so well. I reacted badly-enough in my own schools.

So I was curious about why transferring stuff from Gdocs to Fimfic is such a big deal. First off, copy/pasting doesn't work because you loose all formatting. I tried using Fimfic's Gdoc importer, but it only every captured some formatting. Sometimes the paragraph breaks were gone, which would mean going to every paragraph by hand and adding that back in. Digging around a bit, I experimented with Gdoc's exporting feature. For some filetypes, Gdocs itself was the one to muck formatting up. Basically, there's no way to avoid manually editing everything.

Oh, and I know someone asked earlier why Kkat would put the story on Fimfic: Some people really dislike reading on Gdocs, but also Fimfic lets readers resize the text and linespacing, change the font, and change the background color, so lots of people find reading on Fimfic easier/better/funner.

one its not important what the daughter did, just that it was done.

two mom has tried other avenues of helping her daughter, and exhausted them.

and I am not sure if you asked about the servants

because leaders are enabled by their followers

I don't personally see Fausticorn acting like she does in the picture, because Lauren Faust isn't actually a morally self-justified god-queen, but mythology-wise horrific, disproportionately punishing curses aren't just nothing new, they're par for the course.

Though I have to agree that from a mythological standpoint, this fits with the "tradition" greco-roman gods had to disproportionately punish people for their "crimes".

20 years before...

After her adventure in human-land, Twilight start experimenting with trans-dimensional travels. Shit happen. 1st fic : she and the other elements of Harmony manage to repel an alien invasion, only for a mysterious third power to do the same thing to them as the G-man did to Freeman at the end of Half-life one.

Today, 2nd fic : the Elements are brought back in a changed Equestria. The Princesses have disappeared, only Cadanza remaining. She's playing the role of Dr Breen. Shining Armor plays the role of Barney, though it's more in a "secretly helping the Resistance" kind of way than what Barney did in HL2.
