Brisineo currently is experiencing tendonitis, and can't draw much. Waiting on my commissioned piece from him once he gets better myself, but even then that's only AFTER he's gotten better, I've told him.

Anyone else who's played the Opposing Force expansion for the original Half-Life..... Did anyone else here find the Spore Laucher adorable? I took to calling it Fishy, and using it in every scenario that I had ammo for it (the fact that it's sort of a grenade launcher/shotgun/bouncy-grenade launcher thingie helps). 

According to the wiki, it's actually the larval/infant form of a Shock Trooper (The quite tough and powerful enemy that forms the spine of the alien race's military) 


Meaning that if Valve ever brings Shephard back, he's going to have a sidekick in the form of an eight-foot four-armed cyclops with a lightning-spewing bug for an arm......that calls him 'daddy'

Half Life 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. Except for that level in Episode One where the f*cking lights go out in the garage. "Hey! I can light the zombies on fire and use them for light!"

Now there's a dozen flaming zombies trying to kill me. Not so bad as in RAGE in the Blue Line Station where the freaking muties are jumping off walls and ceilings and flipping around like goddamn Spiderman while two Kraken-thingies are trying to kill you by blinding you. Good thing I brought rockets.

 EDIT: Anyone interested in seeing a playthrough of RAGE?

No, Rage isn't fun, with bad backstory and not really good gameplay. Only good side of RAGE - it was made by same guys, who made Doom (it's printed on CD)..that's it.

It has its problems, but the gunplay's excellent and can be pretty fun. Backstory's bad, characters aren't memorable, but it's kinda like Doom. Here's some type of story, a bunch of weapons, now go kill shit.

And you meet 'big bad' or even find out why it's 'big bad' almost in the end..so yeah..they have really poorly made backstory.

RAGE is far from perfect, but it can be a load of fun at times. It's entertaining enough if you like just blow stuff up/kill things in a very good-looking world.

I'm told I'd make amusing Let's Plays (such as when I startle my friends by screaming 'NO FISHY WHY' when the Spore Launcher bounces back and kills me) so I think  if you can make yours interesting, you'll do just fine

 I that if the war had gone on longer, the Japanese would have run out of ordinance for their bombs and resorted to dropping hordes of katana-wielding soldiers out of planes
