Interesting.

It's from a classic Clive Barker movie - "Hellraiser." It spawned a franchise of lesser sequels, apparently; I've only ever seen the first two, though. Second was mediocre on average, IMO, and awful at some points, but it DID have some fantastic artistic choices.

I'll watch it to see, but I don't exactly have high hopes. The only fan-project I'm actually excited for still is Children of the Night.

I just don't see the appeal of fan animation.

TBH I'd prefer the animators trying to do these things to spend their time on something truly original instead of trying... cash on the success of another franchise they hold no right over. It'd just be best for everyone involved, in every ways.


The exceptions would be things like Nuka Break (though it's not an animation, you get my meaning I hope), which ARE truly original in my book - just using the aesthetic from the franchise it's inspired from and not trying to shoehorn itself into its universe.
